The Golden Orchid in Harborough

This place is selling alcoholic drinks to teenagers below 15 years old without even checking their id or age ! The fact that the owner of this place is the one doing that is absolutely ridiculous ! I hope someone will take the necessary measures against this place as I don’t think they are aware of the laws this country has or they are simply ignoring them on purpose thinking that it might not be found out!

One of the best Thai I have had in a long time. This place was recommended and it exceeded my expectations. Food was great and the portions more than ample. Definitely be back.

We eat here Saturday 5th February 2022We had a table for 5 people the restaurant has aLovely ambience our waitress Linnett was so polite and friendly.. The chef came to our table to check with us our order and how hot or spicy we liked our food and I thought this was a lovely touch... we could not fault the foodAll of us thought it was excellent.I highly recommend The Golden Orchid and I will be returning very soon.

The food is good, but the customer service from the restaurant is appalling when ordering as takeaway. Would not recommend takeaway at all.

Ordered via deliveroo - I requested the stirfried sweet and sour tofu What turned up? Tofu and raw carrot, no sauce, no stir fried veg. So boring. I'm disappointed.

Lovely little place with a nice atmosphere. A really friendly waitress, provided good advice on some dishes on the list which were unfamiliar. Was offered a selection of Thai beers, and enjoyed a Singha. The food was exceedingly tasty and well cooked, service was pleasant and efficient and the thing I'm really surprised about was that the restaur was almost empty on a Thursday night. I'll definitely be returning again to sample more of the menu.
