Always great food; indoor and outdoor seating. Table service. Booking is advisable as it can get busy. Dog friendly outside.

Service was terrible ordered drinks and never came back to take our food order so we didn't end up eating. When it came to try to get staff attention they were unattentative and took forever to get the bill for out drinks. If you don't mind waiting forever to place a drink order and not food go ahead and visit

Friendly, prompt service. It's a big roomy place with lots of space around tables. Food was lovely, thank you.

So to begin our journey I had no idea where to go to get to the Farmers Kitchen, I asked a member of staff who eventually after 10 minutes of conversation took us to the marquee to be seated.Once seated, my party and I waited 25 minutes for a waitress to come over and take our order, whilst looking in the menus it had scribbled pencil on every page which we couldn't understand; once the waitress had taken our order of just coffee and one babycino for my daughter who is one and has a milk allergy (so 3 coffees and 1 Oat milk babycino). After we ordered we then proceeded to wait another 30-40 minutes for our drinks to arrive! Half way through the waiting time a waitress came over to ask us 'was everything okay?' In which I responded 'we haven't received our drinks yet', then our order turns up about 20 minutes Later. When our drinks finally arrived, the babycino was too hot for my daughter and not only that, it was made with cows milk and not oat! When I was told by the waitress when the drinks were put on the table that it was definitely oat. If it wasn't for me tasting it, my daughter could have a severe allergic reaction. The coffee was bitter and like warm at best.I'm severely disappointed in the service and overall experience of the Farmers Kitchen. I will definitely not be returning.

Sadly quite dissapointed with our afternoon tea on Friday, it was a birthday present for a friend and I especially chose to come here given previous attendance a few years ago for an excellent afternoon tea.The sandwiches were nothing great, everything was fairly bland apart from the orange macaron. The scone was actually dreadful, very dry and maybe the worst ever encountered, it was tiny which and in this case good job it was.We were asked if we enjoyed it and gave honest feedback but nothing was done to try and make it a better experience for us. I would look elsewhere for a better afternoon tea if you are wanting to treat someone. No good value or enjoyable.

I went for lunch the other day excited to try the local sourced produce! I had used the adjacent Farndon Fields Farm shop before and like what they do. The Kitchen was however disappointing! The outdoor garden seating area was uninspiring, and the food fell short. My chips were not the best (soggy/limp). The burger tasted good as it was well seasoned but the bun was cold. Compared to other places I have dined in Market Harborough this was a let down. There was nothing special to justify the price. The highlight for me was seeing their resident goats and leaving the dark Kitchen tent area.

Service slow to start but drinks and food came out quickly. All food very nice but scones could have been bigger (they were the smallest I've ever seen) waitress was lovely and helpful.

·

Very disappointing experience after much anticipation. Service staff may be friendly but the actual service was non existent, had to get up and go fetch a menu after 15 minutes of waiting, another 15 min later we had to ask someone to take our orders, coffees arrived about an hour after sitting down just to be so hot it destroyed the flavour of the coffee, tasted like machine hasn’t been cleaned in days and there was little to no foam to speak of.Very disappointing from what is meant to be a neighbourhood favourite.

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing place. The freshness is superb and it's reasonably priced. Definitely going back. A rare gem!!
