Where is The Nevil Arms Restaurant?

🏠 Nevill Arms Inn, 12 Waterfall Way, Medbourne, Market Harborough LE16 8EE

"Please note: For best room rates please book directly through our website. The Nevill Arms, once the old stable yard and coaching Inn, is set in the picturesque village of Medbourne in the heart of the beautiful Welland Valley on the Leicestershire, Rutland & Northamptonshire borders. The Inn is set by a tributary of the River Welland and there is a towpath from the Inn leading directly to the church and village shop. The Inn, rebuilt in 1863, now a grade 2 listed building, has undergone sympathetic refitting whilst retaining much of its original character and features including the original large studded oak door, the oak beamed ceilings, the stone inglenook fireplace, leaded stone mullion windows and the enclosed courtyard and terrace."

Nice country pub. We went for lunch. Staff were lovely. The food is not cheap, but it's good quality. Service took a little longer than we might like, but overall this was a good experience.

Loved this place, what's not to like, its done so well with robust furniture, not the usual cheap stuff.. food was okay, but only tried the open steak sandwich....would like to try something of an evening. We loved it here

Excellent food . Really friendly service. Lovely building.

Mothers day lunch. Food was excellent after a false start, the food wasnt very hot on delivery but after telling the waitress we got completely fresh meals. It was beautifully cooked and presented but couldnt eat it all as there was so much. The staff were excellent, very polite and helpful. Will definitely go again.

The pub is in a great location, it is beautifully decorated, there are lovely staff, the food is ok but nothing special.

·

Great decor, ambience, architecture, setting, food and drinks. Fair pricing and friendly staff. Second mention for both food drink and most staff as they were really nice. We went for a family occasion and this was lovely for a special get together. Also, there is a nice feeling to this area. Feels abit lost in time and its gorgeous country village. I May return on the bike for a coffee / cake to enjoy the courtyard.

Outstanding food and service. A bit off the beaten track but well worth finding it. I had the Great Easton lamb rump and it was absolutely delicious

·

Beautiful building nicely restored and polite Staff. But Ala Carte or not quite honestly the portion sizes were not great for the price we paid. And although it wasn't particularly busy the service was very slow, A shame really because the place has huge potential its not fulfilling

·

Super cafe, Been a few times now and will be plenty more. Cafe was full so we were led into the restaurant for our meals. Excellent service with excellent food. Thank you.

Beef roast was delicious! And there's nothing wrong with the place except if you're gluten free. They offer some gluten free options, but it's really just removing bits from the dishes so GF people have smaller portions of everything, but same price as everyone else.
