Take awayThis was the best take away meal we have had in years !! We had stopped having take aways as we are always disappointed , but not tonight !!Tasty fresh and enough on one dish , one side , one rice and one nann for two of us , so good value too.Next time we want a decent Indian meal this is where we will go .

Was disappointed having to wait 40 minutes between starters and mains, and it wasn't even busy in the restaurant. The wait was worth it though, as the food was very tasty.

Take awayValue for money I found poor. £3.50 FOR THE smallest samosas possible. Nan bread that once was thin and crispy is now thick and doughy.In this difficult time, value for money is everything.Not somewhere we will be visiting in the near future!

Thank you to the staff at the New Sunar Gow for phoning me back late at night to tell me they had found my very anxious sons phone. Thats great service from you. He'd had a lovely evening and nice food in the restaurant.

Visited on a bank holiday Monday. Not busy. Food was delicious, amount just right. Friendly service. We will be going again soon.

New to Lutterworth and chose the Sunar Gow as it seemed the best of the limited choice around. The staff and managers were friendly enough but somewhat under pressure from what was almost a full house; that translated into service issues and too many requests to see if we'd finished each course - like we were about to run out of our allocated time!It should have been a great Saturday meal with family but, in addition and more importantly, the food was a bit of a let-down. The chicken tikka was dry and bland - it also shared a griddle plate with a shashlik (for a different member of the family) The chicken tikka masala seemed as if the sauce and the meat were two different items - no blending of the two. There was precious little chicken with the chicken coco curry........As it was so full it would have been inappropriate to have raised these issues with the owner/ manager - although I'd have preferred to have discussed this directly.Any recommendations for Indian food locally??

Warning avoid!Sadly let down by the extremely rude manager who is very aggressive and obnoxious. He was very abrupt when taking the order and doesn’t know how to speak to people. Then I received my food which accidentally had gluten in it. I told the manager and he just laughed and didn’t care! Said it was my fault for eating it. Then start pointing his finger at me, truly shocking. It’s a shame as the flavours of the food were great! Just let down by a rude manager who is self absorbedHopefully this may help a coeliac not get poisoning!!!

Customer service and atmosphere was good however let down majorly by food a cleanliness.Took 4 attempts to be given clean glasses without lipstick marks and food marks on. Although the curry it self was tasty, the fish and chicken were of low quality with bits of fat and were either old or cooked incorrectly - all meat was chewy and difficult to cut with even a knife including the fish surprisingly (stomach not feeling to great now)Shame as with a change of chef and dishwasher could be a lot better due to the good customer service.

I must say this is the second time I have gone to the sunar gow and let me tell you that you will not be disappointed. The decor and ambience of the restaurant was just perfect. The food quality, the taste and flavour of the dishes we ordered was heavenly. I enjoy eating out and love Indian food, and the sunar gow is a cut above the rest.The service complimented the food, with the service being exceptional. The waiter and restaurant followed all the COVID guidelines, and the staff was very tentative to our needs and a credit to the restaurant.I will definitely be going back again and highly recommend that you all try this restaurant.10/10. Keep up the work.

This is a wonderful little restaurant. Me and my friends enjoyed a wonderful evening out.From the poppadoms with its exquisite relishes, perfectly fried onion bhajees, tender lamb tikka succulent chicken tikka and sheek kebabs served with the most delicious crisp salad.Very well cooked main course dishes including an excellent selection of fish, mouth watering King Prawn, Meat and Chicken Curries all prepared with delicate, balanced mixture of herbs and spices, served with beautifully made Nan breads and fluffy plain white Boiled Rice.Compliments to the Chef and waiters who served us in a most friendly and courteous manner. It really was an amazing meal and a wonderful experience.A big thank you to The New Sunar Gow.
