Good food. Good beer. Reasonable prices. Dog friendly outside only otherwise 5 stars

On a Sunday carvery if you don’t book a table, the staff will always try to sit you somewhere, the outside additional space, is not usually reserved for diners, and is more used by families with pets, or over spill from main building. People are always given a choice. But the quality of food does not alter, which is always excellent.

Visited this place on 12.6.2022 and was directed to eatin a shed. Went for the carvery where the food was very disappointing . Draughty with the constant traffic of people leaving the door open. We were mislead by the price on their web site was lower than we were actually charged. Will definitely not return.

Never a dull moment or a bad meal here. Tracey and her very able team will ensure you have a great time. Food is excellent pub grub, own brewed beers on tap.We've never had a bad experience here and the food and laughs are what keeps us returning, even though we live a few miles away.

Yummy food , quick service and very welcoming. One tip book a table as can get busy. A favourite place of mine for home cooked meals.

Just what a traditional pub should be! Excellent beer, amazing quality and choice at the carvery and very genuine friendly staff. 6 meats available on the day we visited… the pub also brew their own beer!Would definitely visit again

Nice welcome, great service and lovely food. Steak and chips and carvery were very tasty, tender and cooked just as I requested.

Went for a walk from High Cross up the fosse way and through Frolesworth stopped here for carvery, was spot on 👍 Also had chocolate fudge cake for dessert which was delicious, would highly recommend.
