Terrible staff! I’ve never been to a pub with such rude and unwelcoming staff. The drinks and food are ridiculously priced, although the food was nice it wasn’t very hot!Save your money and go else where!!!

Nice Sunday lunch for 5. Traditional roast was hot and good quality, veg could be improved but overall a good meal

Nice quiet pub. Can’t fault the girls behind the bar, service is great. However, food is massively overpriced. Maybe a consequence of the affluence of the local area but the rest of world wouldn’t be fooled. £15 for a turkey roast and served 3 aunt Bessie’s potatoes is unjustifiable. Turkey was dryer than the sun. Minted mushy peas were lovely though I will say. £14 for fish chips and mushy peas. I mean I can’t fault that it was fantastic, for what it is. But no matter how fancy a pub presents fish and chips, it’s never worth £14. Lovely pub for a pint but if I ever eat there again it’ll be out of pure laziness.

Had a fab meal. They were busy but nothing was too much trouble. The meals are very well presented, hot and delicious. Will be going again soon. Thank you xx

We hired a boat and moored up by the nearby Bridge which was about a 10 minute walk up the hill. Service was excellent. Nice selection of Gins. Wonderful view in the beer garden. The food was also excellent with generous portion sizes. Would recommend..

Great service on a busy day for them, which is good to see.I came here with a group of 14 for a Sunday Roast, which you can imagine would be tough for the waiters and kitchen staff. But they handled us well! They told us well in advance when we made our booking of the time restrictions for the table. And during our meal, they kept us informed of how long we had. I know some people could have an issue with this - but it was our fault it took so long to order, so no issues with them keeping us informed. The pub is situated in a nice village and has ample parking around the back of the pub, with nice views as well. The seating inside was a little cramped, but not bad enough to ruin the meal. The food was really nice and heard everyone on the table saying they enjoyed their starters and mains. Their roast portions are big - so be mindful of that if you decide to do a 3 course meal like we did.I also appreciated that they were acomodate a request for chocolate custard with my dessert (it's been a long time since having it, and had a craving for it). They happily obliged - it's just a shame I was too stuffed to finish it.All in all, would recommend for a Sunday roast as part of a big group - and I'm sure I'll get the same welcoming experience next time I visit in a smaller group.
