Lovely pub,recently renovated,lovely polite staff,food was great,presented well,but very expensive for what it was,lovely food,but just well cooked,well presented pub food,fine dining prices for pub food,sorry but I won't use again.

Highly recommend this place, a hidden Gem off the beaten track. The Monkfish Thai green curry is delightful.

Booked the olive garden room for my mums 60th birthday, and wasn't disappointed, such a beautiful room. Throughly enjoyed the evening. Food and drink took alittle while but was well worth the wait, delicious. Staff very accommodating, definitely be returning ❤

Lovely place in a quiet village. Recently refurbished and looking great.Main courses were great, clearly higher quality and worth the price, with a good variety, with ingredient combinations giving something a bit different and unique. We felt the pizzas were a bit pricy for that they were.Service seemed slow and a bit inattentive, considering it wasn't particularly busy.We had to flag someone down every step of the way, and an incorrect drink was bought out.Besides that, well worth a visit! The duck breast was divine.

Disappointed. Have visited previously and I enjoyed the experience far more the first time. The pub was packed and far too loud and rowdy with unnecessarily loud music playing. Staff were running around frantically and appeared overworked and stressed out. As a result the service was mediocre with several mistakes made (not helped by the volume impeding conversation and ordering) and poor attention. Only asked for drinks order once during the 3 courses and when we asked for water we had a bottle plonked down with no glasses so made do with our previous ones. Almost became comical towards the end.Food is good but still overpriced for what it is. It’s an incredibly handsome pub in a lovely village but unfortunately it seems to have become too popular and rowdy and felt more like a boozer than the gastro pub it was I visited a few months ago. Won’t be back in a hurry unfortunately.

Absolutely outstanding, just like the other pubs owned by this collective. Bordering on Michelin standard in my opinion. And I've eaten and drank in some highly rated venues.

Had a wonderful meal here last night. The staff were so attentive and accommodating and the food was far and above my expectations. It was of an exceptional quality beyond pub food. I will definitely be returning to try their pizzas but for a special occasion the evening menu was absolutely perfect. The private room is also a lovely space for a larger group, in every way it exceeded expectations.

The sun Inn is a beautiful venue with welcoming staff. My food and drink experience, however, was disappointing...I had the lamb/shepards pie at £28 and to drink Timothy Taylor...(£4.50 pint). The dish came with one strand of limp broccoli and the rest can only be described as uninspiring at best....definitely not awful, but at £28 this was not a fair deal. The beer was cloudy that simply should not have been served.

Quality meal every time, pub classics with unique twists that I have not had anywhere else. Great decor and atmosphere. For a local village pub the staff are very professional but also welcoming. Worth travelling for and I shall be booking my next meal soon.

What an Amazing meal we had tonight at The Sun.Absolute perfection in every detail, the staff with their commitment to make you feel you were the only person dining , the food with such intricate attention to a fusion of flavours & beautiful presentation , such a skilled chef.The absolute icing on the cake was the manager Joe who was totally outstanding with staff & customers. Thank you to all involved for such a wonderful meal .
