The White Swan in Harborough

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant, and one you will want to try, their tasting menu was absolutely fantastic, food and wine quality, food presentation and service, were all excellent, the ingredients were fabulous, and the creativity if the menu was super, not too off beat, but just really well designed and very well executed. Lamb Bacon with asparagus creme fresh and garlic oil, was a personal favourite, as well as the bantam egg with mushroom caviar.....we were meeting friends and had booked blind. We were all very happy with the decision!!!

I attended The White Swan last night for the seven course tasting menu. I loved the spacious layout of the dining area and the light decor. The staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable and made the visit even more pleasurable. The food was absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t fault it in any way. I loved that all of the courses were extremely different but all flowed together. I will be happy to recommend to all my friends and will return.

For pure Michelin delight, don't miss visiting this beautiful gastropub and savouring its delights. The food, its presentation and the accompanying wines are of the highest standards. The service is exquisite and personal. Altogether it's simply delightful. Our wedding anniversary celebration with special friends was enhanced by the ambience - the four hour lunch was a treat - and the attention to detail and specific preferences! We can only give The White Swan our warmest recommendation. And note, although the pub is only a few minutes from the M1 and M6, and within easy reach of Rugby and Lutterworth, it's set in a beautiful rural idyll in the heart of Shawell. Treat yourselves!

Came here today for the four course lunch with the goils! Omg it was incredible, really enjoyed the fried brie and the risotto was absolutely beautiful! I saw a lot of people ordered the turkey and was a bit worried I'd made the wrong choice but I didn't! I have to say the service was fantastic and a breath of fresh air, I'd emailed Claudia with the group's dietary requirements a few days before and she was really quick to respond and accomodating, I felt like nothing was a problem so a big thank you to her and of course the chef!

My wife booked this place for me for my 40th birthday. This is an incredible restaurant tucked away in a quiet spot. This is prime example of a 'hidden gem'.The food was absolutely exceptional and every course was explained down to a tee.Another great service they offered was a Le Sommelier, giving some great advice on the wide range if wines they had on offer.The service at this place is at a very high quality. Every member of staff were very welcoming and friendly.I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a special place to have an intimate dinner.

Well what can I say for the white swan? Just wow. It was a last minute decision to go here first time (will not be my last) for a very late mothers day treat we came on a Monday the we both had the stake and lobster and sticky toffee pudding for only £20 other options were available but that was the day special very cheap. I had heard good things about the place and they didn't disappoint staff and food were top notch thanks all staff I'll see you soon
