This place has to be one of the best restaurants that I have ever had the pleasure of eating dinner at waited on hand and foot, catered to our every need, they could not have been more helpful, I would 100% recommend this place to everyone and anyone and it's very affordable. Just had a wonderful meal here. We had made a last minute decision for four of us to come out for dinner and despite being busy they did there best to accommodate us, giving us a lovely table and the food was amazing. We have decided we are going to be regular customers from now on.

A quintessentially British country pub. Great little place, in the village of Stoke Albany. Great atmosphere cosy and welcoming. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is amazing a big portions. Ended up having a sandwich from the light lunch menu. It was anything but light! Triple decked club sandwich with a side salad and skin on fries. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

Excellent food although the sprouts could have done with a couple more minutes and the roasties a few minutes less. Beautifully presented and seasoned perfectly. Service was good and reasonably priced. We had whole room as we were a large party and the room was beautifully decorated, particularly loved the wallpaper.

Great little pub! We stayed overnight on the 17th September 2021 . We booked 5 rooms for ourselves and our guests. The bedroom were spacious, beautifully decorated, fresh and clean. The beds are very confortable and the linen of good quality. We had breakfast in the newly decorated restaurant… everything was perfect to say the least. So today I went back with my daughter for a spot of lunch and their was hard to choose as everything on the menu sounded great ! I highly recommend this place, food and service were perfect. Thanks to Jane and her team to make us feel welcome. I heard Sunday lunches are amazing too so will pay them a visit soon to sample it!

Absolutely fabulous Sunday meal at our local, we were a party of 9 and had Lamb, Pork & Beef which were all excellent. We were so pleased to share it with our lovely friends. Thanks to all the staff for making all our friends want to come again. 🥂💕
