the menu is unconventional compared with normal pub meals. the meals we ordered were tasty. The side order of french fries was in generous portion. the brisket was tender. the tap house provides a wide range of largers and cocktails.

We took a stag group (18) for a Beer Tasting experience and dinner. In preparation for the event, management were very accommodating to our budgets and worked with us to create the best beer tasting experience we could. Lovely beers! The pre-ordering process allows all attendees to make their own order was fantastic and really reduced the burden of the organiser. The food itself was generally a little disappointing, in terms of taste, but for the purposes of our visit, which was primarily the beer tasting, it was adequate. The staff were superbly welcoming, and attentive throughout the night, ensuring we were well looked after! Thanks so much for having us!

Fantastic lunch here - we shared the vegan platter and it was very yummy. My husband seemed to enjoy the beer too. Good service and the food arrived quickly.

Remember visiting the brewery tap when it first opened, full of curiosity and excitement and some place it was. Pioneering beers and raw passion from the staff making it somewhere very special. Time has not been kind, the staff appeared cold and aloof, enough to dissuade me from visiting again. You could be be in any pretentious craft beer bar, in any city. Shame, I love Buxton Brewery beers...

Been in here once or twice before, tonight we had spicy sausage casserole and advocado stack with mushrooms and cheese. It was outstanding, I've never had such a nice meal, might visit again soon, the only reason you're not seeing it is because it was so delicious we just had to eat it... Thanks Al.

What a find! This is a truly lovely place. Staff very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Never had a meal so good. Definitely recommend this. Excellent Buxton beer and gin as well. Perfect evening.

An amazing place to eat and drink in Buxton. Can get very busy but they had walk in availability every-time we went.Great cocktail selection and 2 for £14 deal. Also great selection of drinks on tap - be sure to ask for a tasting board and you’ll get 4 1/3 pints to try.Food was also fantastic - will definitely go back.

LOVED IT HERE . We both had sandwiches one a club Sandwich the other a brisket one both served with fries and salad on sour dough bread , washed down with an equally impressive pint of Buxton blonde . Stunning inside this bar with loads of local bees to choose from . Dog friendly with free gravy bones which is why we ended up here , a must if you visit Buxton

My husband and I came in for a drink and early dinner on Tuesday. Great drinks menu - we had cocktails, I had wine and he had ale - all were lovely. Food was fab and served promptly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again! Thank you

Stopped by for lunch as the menu looked interesting. Mixture of food - including some Central European influenced dishes such as goulash and schnitzel. A welcome addition to the usual pub grub! Cosy venue and good service 👍🏻
