Very enjoyable evening. Food was first class in flavour and presentation. Excellent customer service, lovely friendly staff. Would definitely highly recommend and go again!

Had a lovely meal on 1.7.22 .. great staff, big portions and amazing puddings! Shame we live 4.5hrs away otherwise this would be a regular place for us. If we are ever back up that way we will defo be popping in again.

We visited The Sycamore today for my husband's birthday/Father's Day - 5 adults and a 2 Yr old. The food was absolutely lovely and the staff were very attentive, the chef even boxed up the remains of my ham hock that I couldn't eat to take home! The whole afternoon was very pleasant and the staff even sang 'Happy Birthday'! Would highly recommend and we will be back, thank you Liz Baxby

Well done Sycamore Inn.Since our 2 year pandemic has ended formally some previously respected eateries have dropped quality to claw a bit back at the expense of their reputation.I was invited last week to go for a meal, with visiting family, to the Sycamore Inn at Birch Vale.Very nice experience.Clean and relaxed surroundings.Lovely meal.Friendly and knowledgeable staff.Fairy priced.We will be returning soon.Well done Sycamore Inn.

We had the most wonderful weekend away for our anniversary. The staff are so welcoming and accomodating, the food is absolutely delicious and the rooms are very spacious. Really nice walks straight from the door too and beautiful views. Highly recommended.

Called in a bit late for food. Brilliant family service each and every tme. Very good food at great price. Accomodation is good too - looks over tranquil valley. 100% Top recommendation. We will definitely be back before too long.

Stopped over in the car park with the motorhome, friendly staff, nice meal, the peppercorn pork was really nice!!, and the treacle sponge pudding 😍.Good info' in leaflet printed by the pub of three circular walks from the pub, easy moderate and hard, well written directions, so we will be back to complete them all 👍.Only one very nice local real ale brew on (see pics) as the Dark mild ran off that afternoon 😖.

Friendly helpful staff, food was good and good value. Popular with families for dining, so may not be as quiet as other pubs. Would eat there again.

Lovely decor made you feel welcome as soon as you walked in. Staff very attentive, Food was wonderful lamb cooked to perfection with real pan roast gravy. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Just got back today from our stay here, all i can say was loved it. Great location for waking the room we stayed in was lovely and clean spacious aswell we have 2 small dogs with us plenty of room.... Its only an hours drive from us we randomly stay at places we like the look of around the peak district for little 2 night trips away and this is definitely one of the better ones we've stayed at. Food was impeccable, the staff i encountered were helpful friendly and very polite especially the 2 young female managers. We'll definitely be back in the near future
