Top fish and chips, good service too

Billy’s plaice is a really great chippy food is fresh lovely and well worth the money fish are so good and huge kebabs are really really nice and you get plenty of tasty chips

Food is fantastic and the staff are super friendly. 100% would recommend to anyone.

Food was cooked freshly, batter on the fish was really crispy and the fish was to die for, portions were really big. Slightly expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Where do I start with Billy's Plaice. Let's start with when you enter the shop. No one greets you, you stand there and wonder, where is the queue? So you ask the other customers and they don't even know either. Then we'll get to the staff, rude in my opinion. There is a guy who seems to say bye to the people who are walking past the shop as he doesn't stop and look, seems to be on auto pilot. Lastly, and I say finally the food. It's good, but expensive £12.50 for 2 pudding, chips and curry. NO THANKS! Personally I'll stick with Station Road Chinese chippy. Cheaper and alwsys greeted with a smile and I know where to queue and I'll get change lol

Terrible customer service! No manners! Walked in no one aknowlaged us, servered another customer who came in after us! Then told you can have a large chips... This could of been split into 2 portions to make them easier to eat... But that was clearly a stretch too far in logic. Then asked for forlk, where staff member placed 2x forlks on the counter when I held out my hand.... I've worked in verious customer service environments and the attention to detail is what matters...didn't feel like you wanted the custom tbh.

Always great food cooked to perfection. The staff are professional friendly and helpful.

Regular fish and chips are amazing... And more than enough for 1, easily shared between 2. Beautiful fish too.. Thick cut, and crispy batter
