Buxton Charcoal Grill in High Peak

Ordered from just eat app - when ordering a chicken burger, there was no option to add a salad so I automatically thought there would be salad on the burger but turned out there wasn’t. I also ordered a large mixed doner kebab, again, just came plain. No option again for salad or sauce. So it was all just dry. With the prices being regular if not even more pricey, you would expect them to have options or come with the added stuff already.

Been a couple of times now. Food was okay. Chips always seem to be soggy. Young girl who delivered the food was quite rude, accused me of not paying. Showed her email confirmation and asked her to check. "Oh yeah, says paid in small at the bottom of the receipt, I didnt see it". No apology. Wont be returning.

Their mix kebab was shocking. Reheated and smelly. No salad as requested. Very dissapointed. No salt, sauces and napkins. I'd avoid.

Usually lovely food and quick delivery.Sometimes, as with all takeaways, the food isnt perfect and the delivery is slow.9 out of 10 as its usually good and tastes better than most in Buxton....AND you don't get Human Hair in your food like you do from the place opposite!

Took 20mins to take my order of a small chips in shop. Then a further 45mins wait and I asked for my money back and went across the road. Where I was served in less than 5mins.

Absolutely shocked after asking for a takeaway to Chapel en le frith and to then be spoken to in the most disgusting manner. Shocking customer service. Won't be ringing ever again on principle. Shocking customer service. Whoever you are you should be ashamed of yourself and whoever employes you should be made aware of you're dispisaclble attitude. No need to speak to people like that.

Asked for chicken kebab. Salad seperate. Expected slices of chicken but poor substitute meat given. Very disappointed and the phone manner was abrupt and rude. Will not use again and couldn't recommend.

Probably the best (and clean) takeaway in Buxton. Been ordering loads of times, and (except one time only) the food was up to standards. The delivery was always much earlier than predicted, food alway fresh and tasty, all delivery drivers are very friendly. Definitely recommend it

Until today food was always great, but today sadly parmesan chicken tasted as if it was fried and then re-warmed in microwave, fries with chicken were dried and still. Burger was cold and hard around the edges. Very disappointed. Honestly, felt as if different person cooked them.

Myself and my partner ordered a calzone and when it arrived it was wet as if it had been sitting in a pool of water, not sure how it was like that but after we rang to Complain about it after being hung up on twice as soon as we started to say about the state of our meal! Once we did get to talk to them the reluctantly sent us out a new Calzone which unfortunately was the exact same as the first one ! We didn't even accept it from the delivery driver ! We sent it back, rang the establishment and told them that it was the same and ensured us that calzones are just like that! Even though we've orders from them many times before hand and it was never like that! When we asked for refund he refused to and told us to come down and cook it ourselves very rudely!!I'll never be ordering off this place again and hope nobody else does either!
