Dukes in High Peak

Decent home made food, Robinson ales all looked nice (can't vouch for taste), plenty of non alcoholic drink choices too. Good portion for the price and nice chips. Staff all working hard and seemed to care about customers requirements, not just going through the motions.Lots of dogs (outs included!) in the bar, but dog free in the dining room. Nice beer garden area (too cold at the moment though!). Would go again.

Stayed 2 nights! Fantastic! Great location for walkers and cyclists alike . We ate both nights in the pub . Food was of excellent quality l. Pub itself is really homely - 2 roaring fires and really friendly and accommodating staff . The site has a clean, and modern toilet/ shower block .. with hot showers.. just what we needed after a day on the bikes. I hesitation recommending this site and we will be back .

What a delightful place the Duke of York is. We stayed for a couple of nights late Dec 21. Great views and walks in this peaceful spot. Toilets and site were kept to a high standard. Food was brilliant a good hearty size that even my husband struggled to finish. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. We will be returning.
