The food was great, but the bill was disappointing, it was not fully explained the extra costs for drinks and the additional chutney tray that was required to complete the poppadoms.

Use peanuts in the peshwaari naan. This shows a restaurant cutting costs because peanuts are cheaper than almonds. My son was told that there were no peanuts in the naan and ended up in hospital. The restaurant later lied. Avoid.

Great little place with very good food at a good price..I can definitely vouch for meat samosas and chicken tikka starter...They do jamesons Irish whiskey and all in all a very friendly place that looked after me and the young lady I was with very well..I would definitely take that young lady there again...Staff were brilliant helpful and looked after everyone there as if they were priority. A neat trick considering how busy they got...Nice one lads..will see you again and watch out for snipers...πŸ¦†

We have just visited as a group of four. The food itself was absolutely fantastic but biggest praise goes to the lovely guy that served us. He recommended a fantastic dish and was so kind to my son.Thank you !

The food here was superb.I chose a dish I hadn't had before and it was very tasty. The staff was also friendly and looked after us very well.We visited here on the last night of our holiday so didn't have the opportunity to go back. When we are next in the area this restaurant will definitely be visited again

Very well located in buxton with easy access from the Palace hotel and also from the station.Restaurant may get busier after 7 so booking a table is a better option than just walking in.We chose couple of 3 course meal option available before 7pm and it's really a good value for money. Onion pakora and veg samosa were super yummy. Chicken madras wasn't really madras but kinda disappointing. Lamb Rogan josh was good. And their Naan bread was really the worst one can think of as its very thick and Garlic naan was better than the normal one. Pilav rice was just ok.Service was just ok with only one guy serving all the tables. You'll have to bear the long wait for the food after orderingProsLocationYummy starters(onion pakora)CurrysConsNaan breadLoooong wait for the food after ordering
