Ithaca in High Peak

Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had.Started with Calamari and it was perfectly cooked. Followed by sea bass with spinach risotto, which again was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Finished with a trio of mini desserts which were all outstanding.Service was very good. Staff were friendly and quick to respond to us. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone and I'll be going back next time I'm in Buxton.

My first time dining here we just walked in tonight because we liked the look of the restaurant, cosy and warm and the menu sounded tasty. So glad we did. The staff were very warm and friendly. The atmosphere was perfect. The service was excellent and the Food was sensational. Cannot Fault at all. Thank you Guys for Making My Birthday Special. We will Definitely Return and I Highly Recommend to Everyone 🙂

The steak was gorgeous but very small potion for the price!!!!!!!! Seriously think if it’s worth it? Otherwise chicken souvlaki was plentiful and very tasty as were the starters

Venue was lovely, all the staff were excellent. Food was very good, authentic. Only down side was we ordered a side of halumi fries which seemed very small for over £6. The manager came and explained politely how the portion size was decided. Very professional and friendly so no problem at all. We had the pre theatre menu which was reasonably priced. Overall, was impressed and would recommend.

Food fantastic & very tasty. Staff were polite, lovely atmosphere. Gutted not one closer to Stoke on Trent but well worth the trip over.

One of the most authentic Greek Tavernas in the UK!! Food so good we didn’t have the patience to take photos of the individual dishes. Certainly worth a visit if you are looking for an evening meal in Buxton.

Superb Greek dining experience. Fine quality food expertly prepared and tasty. Had a Souvlaki Main with Halloumi fries and greek salad with feta. Absolutely yum..... No pictures as I ate and enjoyed the lot including the greek coffee.Top tip.....book before you intend to visit, this place is often busy and extremely popular (as all good restaurants should be).The staff are attentive and know what they are doing, brilliant service.My best illustration of the food and the experience is shown by the empty plate in the picture and the smile on my face..... thoroughly recommended

Absolutely top notch dining experience at Ithaca. Highly recommend you book a table as other potential diners that hadn't booked were turned away.Anyhow , warm welcome on arrival , delicious food and good service , what else do you need ?There is an extensive menu and it was difficult to pick as there were so many nice dishes so as a compromise we chose one main dish and then added 4 starter dishes and a portion of fries. All cooked to perfection and packed full of flavour. Full plates to empty plates tells you all you need to know.Overall , a super dining experience and can't wait to visit againNo hesitation in recommending, enjoy !!

Very good food, the owner is soooo Greek (which is a super positive thing!), an amazing and funny guy. The location is nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it again and go again!

Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was exquisite. Had the calamari starter, the batter was lightly crispy and the squid tasted fresh. The mains were even better, had the cod with mash and salad. Cod was fresh and cooked to perfection, combined with some light sauce dressing was a great combination. The other was equally as good, the traditional slow cooked tender lamb with potatoes, was so flavoursome and tender, can feel it melt in mouth. I will definitely return and this was my first time trying greek. Price was £50 which was great and i will happily pay again as the quality is top notch
