Called in with my wife, daughter in law and 3yo grandson. Really pleased with the place. Great food, nice and warm, clean tables and pleasant staff. Toasted cheese, sausage sandwich and plate of real homemade chips and hot teas.....great.

En Route to Bleaklow for a hike and temporary traffic lights in Dove Holes meant that traffic was backing up to the lay by where the Diner is, so I pulled in because I was hungry and wanted to plan an alternative route to Bleaklow. I had a large sausage and cheese bap and two rounds of toast to take away. It was very tasty, the toast was thick cut and the bap was fresh and the cheese grated finely. The sausages were well cooked and I had no complaints. The lady who brought the food to my car was polite and wished me a safe onward journey. I would definitely call by again.

Dining alfresco so it's share a table. I was sharing a table with a tipper driver, conversation was flowing and it turned out we both knew a lot of people mutually!!Anyway the £6 breakfast we were having consisted of two of each bacon, sausage, egg, toast, beans and tomatoes all washed down with a bucket of tea.Call yourself to sample this cafe.

Great little layby cafe tucked away on the other side of Buxton, along the A6 approach Dove Holes.Open 5 days a week plus Saturday mornings, everywhere is clean, friendly staff, the inside looks well pucker with the flowers at your tableside and last but not least well cooked tasty food served.Medium sized layby, so parking usually ain't too bad.Breakfasts start at around £4.50 and open at 7.30 am. So if your in that area taking in the sights and worked up an appetite, here you can enjoy a brew and top up those energy levels with a nice fry up to keep you going.
