King 2 in High Peak

We are on holiday, we always have a Saturday chinese. So put are order in family of 6 and it was done in 25 min. We all loved our meals. Great service and great food thank you.

Serving chips and gravy in a paper bag really.Food is maybe the worse I have had from a chipyGravy is tasteless.Salt and pepper chips came as chips with just salt in a paper bag again.no onions peppers anything all the good reviews are clearly fake.They clearly need a new chef who knows how to cook.

Food was ok Singapore noodles were good, dry ribs were not very dry, chicken spring roll no filling and white soggy stuff. Beef with spring onion and garlic good

Excellent food and always so consistently made. The sweet and sour battered chicken balls are amazing. The best ever salt and pepper chips and veg spring and veg satay are great.

Not very nice at all. Bbq spare ribs were overcooked and dry . Salt and pepper ribs were the same dry ribs with the addition of some stir fried onions and chillis. Prawn toast was heavy and greasy ... very greasy . All in all for £16.40 really not worth the money

As August moon was closed I though i'd order from king 2 ,after phoning up and ordering was told there would be a 45 minute wait .. got to the shop at the time they said to be told there would be another 15 minute wait . Food was eventually ready 1hour 40 minutes after I ordered it and 55 minutes after they said it would be .If that was only thing would of been an inconvenience but it wasn't .. the beef tasted terrible and was slimey , the chips had salt on them even though I'd asked for no salt , will say the chicken fried rice was ok , but no where near as nice as August moon. Won't be using again.

Half an hour late, and they forgot the sauce for the main course. And they don't even give you free pawn crackers on a £27 order. The food we did get, eventually, was decent, but will be sticking with Yoyo in future.

Best Chinese takeaway for Miles. All the food is fresh, none of the frozen ready made stuff you can just heat in a wok (like so many of the others). As it's actually fresh food, favourites might be a little different to what you're used to (ie the salt n pepper chicken is one large chicken escalope cut into strips and then mixed with the seasonings and veg, its is very tasty) all are delicious. Try it.

Oh dear, this was not a good meal at all I'm afraid. The sweet and sour chicken was nothing but sour, the chips were far too salty and overcooked and my husband's salt n pepper chicken was so spicy it wasn't pleasant to eat - and he loves a bit of spice! A real let down, sorry guys. A litre of water later (due to salt and spice!) we were very disappointed.

If your heart yearns for a great Chinese takeaway (+/- love & pride) then I can whole heartedly recommend this excellent establishment. Tasty, well executed food, cooked swiftly, friendly service and all at a very reasonable price.
