Olivers Kebab House in High Peak

Just had a Kabab from olivers.,in buxton,, One of the owners Does a kabab perfectly Salad ,relish and meat Evenly..perfect...The the other man,,a few pieces of salad then drowns it in relish,even if you tell him how you want it..I've been a customer for over 10 years and its always like this.

I have never eaten better food. Never a bad experience. Everyone there is so sound. Ignore all the bad reviews because this place is mint. Garlic naan (when they did it) ? 10/10 cheesy chips (bit heavy on the cheese but I’ll let it slide because some people like that) ? 10/10 chicken burger ? 10/10 staff? 10/10. 2nd home <33

Fare from lamb taste in Donner Kebab , garlic sauce wasn't garlic..... honestly I've no clue what it was. Chicken kebab very dried, not recommended

Told 45 mins for delivery, over an hour later the food turned up cold and my sons burger was missing. Called to let them know and they acted as of it was my fault!! After a load of huffing and puffing from him, the guy on the phone said they would send the burger out. This isn't the first time something like this has happened either! Last time they sent completely the wrong pizzas!

Really disappointed. Im not really one to complain, but the food delivery took 2 hours to arrive. When arrived food was cold, dough on the naan bread was raw, and meat awful. Portion of the order was also missing. Called to let them know and an hour later still nothing arrived. Gave up even bothering to call them back as it was so late. Won't order again.

£4.50 for small Doner kebab. Far too greasy, not enough salad, chilli sauce tasted OK. The 'meat'was something I have never experienced before in all my years. The only similarity processed kebab meat has to real meat is the relative chewiness of the stuff. This tasted like bog standard kebab meat but with the unfortunate consistency of the breadcrumb coating on fish fingers. Overall pretty awful dining.1 star for quick service, 1 star because I haven't vomited yet ☹️

Bought a special kebab, the only special thing about it was that I didn’t put on 2000 calories because it was so disappointing that I didn’t want to eat it :)Had about 4 bits of chicken and the rest was soggy chips and dry donor meat.Very poor, ended up in the bin. Would recommend if you’re on a diet.

Visited Buxton for a wedding and was craving a Doner Kebab. So I checked out the reviews and 3.8 out of 5 so it can’t really be that bad. Was I wrong! Worst kebab I have ever had in my life. The meat wasn’t evenly freshly cut, stored in the warm pot for like a whole day so it’s dry as cardboard. The meat didn’t taste like any Doner meat I have ever had, the chips...don’t even get me started on them.

Awesome pizzas, superb value for money including free delivery, and really lovely people! Always make you feel welcome. I've been a customer since 1995 and still can't get enough of their thick crust pizzas, if you like a lot of cheese on your pizza then you will be pleased, ring them on 01298 22022 way better value than Domino's!!! Cheers guys, I know a lot of people in this town like them too!

Part of our Peak District reviewing in the Buxton area. There was no particular take away picked, we just picked from a hat. We ordered different meals so as to check the quality of them, We were very impressed. The delivery time was quick. The meals were very hot and the prices very reasonable. The staff were polite as was the delivery driver. Got to be one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time. Down side, could have done with some plastic forks and napkins and salt on the chips. Overall a very pleasant experience.Our Review 8.5/10 ✔ Worth a return visit.
