If you'd like an overpriced plate full of attitude then this is the place for you, was actually berated by a nasty, stressed out waitress/owner for having the audacity to stand within the doorway whilst attempting to spend my hard earned money in here. A zero for customer service skills, in fact a rattle snake has more charm. A nice walk ruined, if like me you prefer a friendlier service then do yourself a favour and continue walking into Hayfield and try the lovely tea room/chocolatier as you cross the road.

What a super little cafe this is, Jo and her staff are really friendly. I have been here more than once....love it, just a skip and a jump off the set valley trail. If your near you gotta try it. :)

We popped in here twice while staying nearby. Really lovely cakes, sausage rolls and barm cakes. First time we went service was slow but we understand they were short staffed. Today it was really busy but service was very good. Would recommend a visit.

This is a lovely little café just off the Sett Valley trail. They server freshly cooked food, as well as hot and cold drinks. There's plenty of covered outside seating too. Cyclists seem to like it too, as well walkers.

Amazing little café we stumbled across walking the Sett Valley Trail. List of hot drinks as long as your arm with great coffee, and huge choice of cakes, breakfasts, and pasties. The pheasant sausage roll was stellar.Water and treats provided for dogs! 🐶

Just an absolute gem of a cafe on the sett valley trail. The food is exceptional especially if you're hungry. The pies are to die for. Fantastic coffee, great large breakfasts and the best cakes. Highly recommended. Oh and ignore the bitter non mask wearing moron. This is a private conscientious business. Go elsewhere if you don't like it, don't write a negative review for a service that you didn't even procure.

Our first time at this little cafe while walking the Sett Valley Trail. It's obviously a popular cafe as it was very busy. I like the coloured lights outside that makes you feel welcome. The owner was a very friendly lady who said she opens the cafe all year round for the popular Sett Valley Trail.

Lovely little Cafe off the Sett Valley Trail in Birch Vale. We stopped off on our walk today for a cup of tea and a piece of cake. Wonderful selection of home made cakes and the menu looked really good for a small cafe. It is open 1000-1430 on Thurs/Fri and 1000-1600 at weekends. Very friendly staff too 😊
