The Cock Pub & Kitchen in High Peak

Had a Sunday roast was good not the greatest. Looked very nice but lacked flavour ! Yorkshire 10/10. Roasties 5/10 av. Meat 7/10. Veg 3/10 (hardly any!)

I ordered the Ribeye steak, expecting a ribeye steak. What actually came was a tasty piece of beef that was about 2mm thick and the size of a coaster. All for the healthy price of £18. The other meals looked OK to be fair, if you come here don't order steak! The service was good

The pub lunch was really nice. A good variety of homemade food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They were great with our children too.

Beautiful Sunday roast and the staff we had were wonderful, kind and very accommodating , even gave us some meat scraps for the dog , well worth a stop after a long walk . Thankyou to all the team x

Loved this place, was greeted by Katelyn & made very welcome on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in early May. Menu has something to satisfy everyone, with a one or two course option. I has sole to start & then the Beef & Ale pie. My partner Sarah didn't have a starter, had the pie too & then sticky toffee pudding with Custard. The portions were just the right size, the pie had short crust pastry & a Cock on the crust which was held in a pie dish. The vegetables were perfectly cooked.The bar is well stocked, with Craft Ales & all the favourites. A good selection of Hard Liquor & wines too.The locals were charming & the Staff so lovely. I will be visiting again & again
