The Globe in High Peak

I have been eating and drinking at the Globe since I moved to Glossop in October 2020. The beer brewed in the premises is fantastic. The vegan food (and yes I still eat meat) is tasty and fantastic value for money. For my wife and me this pub is a huge part of the community. From somewhere to drop in after work for a quick drink to a place to eat a meal together. We have met friends for life here. This ain’t just a pub it’s an experience. Thank you Toby, Danny Becca, Shane and all the staff at the Globe.

A regular visitor at this amazing place. I'm not a Vegan, but enjoy the food, and for that reason I always return. The staff is always friendly and overall a great place for socialising

Great Pub.I’m a carnivore but the vegan food here is absolutely fantastic and such great value for money they brew their own beer too and have a gig venue upstairs also.Staff are all lovely.Top pub,Top marks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great pub that has been vegan for years and years and years! The homemade burger was lovely and ultimately defeated me. The spiral fries did not! (Half gone on the pic!)The burger came with all the extras fried onions, vegan cheese n bacon and doubled!Lots of bands were trailing through upstairs and warming up. Sounded like quite a show!Great service and friendly staff. Cheers!

I loved everything about this place. Interior is very old school but I love the way it makes you feel like you go back in time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Food is unbelievable value for money. Great if you need a quick bite to feel full. The tofu in the chilli, homemade chips and pudding options were winners for me. Next time I’m in the area I will stop in again.

Old style pub, serving their own beers and good vegan food. Staff are fun and I'm so glad we've got such a laid back, relaxed pub on our doorstep!

This place is a must for vegans. Everything on their menu is vegan & delicious. We had the Sunday roast with sticky toffee pudding as part of a very well priced meal deal. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff all on the main road in the centre of Glossip.

We took a special journey to Glossop to try this place and were so glad that we did. This place is amazing! There's good outdoor seating that's well spaced and inside has a really good, traditional pub atmosphere.All staff members I spoke to were very nice.The food we had was amazing! If you're vegan, you have to come here. You can get a delicious, filling, meal for under a fiver.If you're not vegan, you have to come here. Amazing.Unfortunately I don't rate the cakes that highly, but the ice-cream was divine and I would have that again in a heartbeat!I've seen a couple of reviews saying things like it's a pushy vegan place. I didn't find that at all. My omnivore partner (who granted, will eat anything) also didn't find that, but still left feeling full and happy and stated this was his favourite restaurant of our holiday.Seriously, even if you're not vegan, come with an open mind and give this place a go. If only for the cheap drinks and good atmosphere!Cannot recommend this place enough!

What an absolute gem of a place.Fantastic, friendly staff.100% vegan menu and everything delicious and not just something out of a box but genuinely unique and home made and so many choices!Everything was delicious and incredibly great value!Highly recommended.Bravo to the whole team at the Globe, see you again soon!
