The Golden Dragon in High Peak

Just had a lovely meal here. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. Despite the restaurant being small and they had a Birthday party in, we managed to get seated and food arrived quickly.

Service was good and friendly but the food quality was poor compared to when I have been in the past.

Came in to collect the food. The food was ready as soon as I got in. The lady was very nice. And the food was very very good. Definitely recommend 100%

Just had a lovely meal off the Early Bird menu. Excellent value and beautifully cooked and well presented. Very calming atmosphere and attentive service.

The best Chinese we've ever had. Sweet and sour chicken was crispy enough (not at all soggy!) with REAL chicken, not processed as I've had previously from other places. We had a takeaway from here at 10:15PM on a Saturday and everything was perfect. Staff are very friendly. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recomended A++++

We got a take away of eleven items. The food tasted delicious BUT, although the staff were friendly and helpful, the wait was rediculously long (50 minutes) and most of the food; lemon chicken, rice, salt & pepper chips, sweet & sour chicken was like warm even as we set off back home.And while we waiting, the staff were told not the answer the phone anymore: bad luck for anyone wanting to book a table or order a take away given that the place had only been open for 35 minutes at that time of day.

Good food, well presented and very clean restaurant. Welcoming and pleasant staff. First time visit this evening. Will definitely go again. Service good but slightly slow otherwise would have awarded 5 stars.
