The Old Hall Hotel in High Peak

Went there first time after complete walk through Win Hill.As there have Easter Beer Festival events as there seem popular and having homemade freshly cooked pizza with pork on bun (not own The Old Hall Hotel) plus having a pints and chats with group of rambler.Will try to re-visit again!

Ate lunch here today, six of us with two dogs, we were early, not a problem, drinks order taken quickly, menus already on our previously reserved table, well organised and friendly staff. Food was very good, and generous portions, I think we'll be back. Probably best to book, it was pretty busy by the time we left.

Stopped here for food and was found a table by a lovely friendly member of staff. It was busy but we ordered food and didn't have to wait too long. We had the steak burgers and fries . I can honestly say it was one of the nicest burgers I have tasted. Would happily return.

Went to the pub for lunch. The staff we're brilliant! They helped organise a surprise birthday lunch for my boyfriend, they sat us at a decoy table so he had no idea a group of his friends were meeting us there 😁 the pub is lovely, the photos don't do it justice! All the food was really tasty and the portions were great. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible 😍

Lovely staff and amazing food with great prices. Been here a few times, will definitely be coming back. All you could want from a pub

Stayed here for work and what a find, decent car park and good size pub/restaurant. The food was amazing the steak and ale pie was the best I have ever tasted and I have been all over the country. The twin room is small but not a problem.

We booked to stay here last weekend which was an emergency for us due to the storm and having no electricity at home and my wife is disabled so we thought best to stay at a hotel, unfortunately this was cancelled by the hotel due to a leak which we understand but what I think is appalling service we still haven’t received a refund and I get fobbed off every time I ring to chase this. Obviously a poorly run hotel glad we didn’t end up staying in the end. Shocking service.

Great hotel, the beds are comfortable and the staff are wonderful. Couple of things to note, the bathrooms can be noisy, we heard the extractor fan and toilets from next door and our own room, also bar noise on Friday night. The pub was rammed on Saturday afternoon but calmed down on Saturday evening. Food is great and generous, breakfast was delicious. Many thanks for a great stay.

The staff here were excellent from the young man behind the bar who was welcoming and found us a table straight away to the serving staff who were equally friendly and attentive. The food was hearty and delicious, all round a lovely experience

We’ve popped in during our trip to Mam Tor. Food is absolute amazing, one of not many pubs/restaurants that “side salad” is not only lettuce 🤣. Very professional and friendly staff. Definitely will come back in the future. 100% recommended!
