The Phoenix in High Peak

Found a live maggot in my noodles very greasy unhygienic I got food poisoning for a week how is this place still open

Honestly shocked at the reviews! We have Phoenix often and the food and service is always great

Very poor food , we just couldn’t eat it . So very disappointed

Frankly appalling. The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. It is impossible to convey just how bad this food is. I can't even bring myself to try the Shezuan (sp) Chicken. It is absolute gack. Avoid.

Would leave no stars if it was an option! Food Literally dropping in grease, wings & ribs seemed to be leftover reheats. Worst Chinese food I have ever had went in the bin, should’ve listened when told not to order from here won’t make that mistake again!

We ordered from here using Just Eat. We waited 2 hours for the food and had to ring several times to chase. The food was, bland, greasy, under cooked and honestly the worst food I can remember eating. The chips were clearly old chips reheated, revolting! Incredibly disappointing, we will never eat from here again!

Really good food, but if your planning on ordering from here ignore all the times, this place doesn't seem to have opening or closing times it shuts as and when. Recommend calling first thing

So tasteless and bland. We were very disappointed and couldn’t add enough of our own spices to save the dishes we ordered. It’s as if some English people were imitating what they thought Chinese food would taste like.

Worst chinese takeaway meal we have ever had! No taste at all. Soggy, semi raw batter (chicken/prawns cooked- thank goodness). Only good thing was we got 4 plastic tubs that we shall re-use. But we could get 4 tubs much cheaper than £15. We will stick to YoYos.

We never knew we had a Chinese takeaway that delivered to where we lived until we came across Just Eat.This place consistently provides quality food which is cooked fresh. The portion sizes are good and we always end up full. I have the remaining curry the day after (somehow curry tastes really good the day after)My wife likes the dumplings as they remind her of food we have when in Singapore.You also get free items on tiered spends.
