I stayed here with my extended family 11adults and 7 children with an age range of 1 to 69. We had a fabulous weekend. The property is very spacious both inside and out and extremely well equipped. The outside space was very secure and ideal for children. Lots of toys etc provided. The whole place was immaculately clean. Kitchen was great and fully equipped for catering for a large group. Hot tub was fab. I would highly recommend the property.

Great place to have a private party with family and friends, 9 bedrooms in the property can either take your own drink or order kegs from them.. will come back next year..

Ideal place to have a big family gathering in the Peak District, can sleep up to 30 people. Weather your walkers or party people this place is ideal for you with the original bar that can be stocked with an ale or larger of your choice. A Jacuzzi to soak away the days aches and pains, massive kitchen area with plenty of oven space, washers, dryers, every room bedroom has a bathroom and toilet.

Beautiful vintage country pub. My son and I had fish and chips which was probably the best fish and chips I've had.The staff are friendly and accommodating. The prices aren't cheap but for the quality of food and the surroundings and atmosphere you don't mind paying the extra. They also offer takeaway fish and chips which I highly recommend!

Stayed overnight here New Year's Eve 2016 as Castleton was uh full up. With that said the landlord and landlady couldn't do enough for you very friendly the breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've ever had. Rooms was nice would most definitely return here again and again.

Went for a meal with my mum who is coeliac, couldn't have been more helpful, pointed out all the options. So nice to be able to go out to eat and not feel like she is limited to only a few choices!! Will definatley be back on our next visit to the peaks!!*
