Stayed two nights, very pleasant room and lovely breakfast. On street parking only but managed to squeeze in.

Stayed here recently and it's the perfect location for hiking/walking around the peaks. The room was brilliant and had everything we needed. Very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Grey accommodated my request for a double to be changed to a twin. We didn't eat here but we did have breakfast and it was enough to set us up for a day of hiking. I will be staying again even if the stairs at the top nearly make you legs drop off haha

Awful and unclean mealThought a 30 min wait was bad enough for three ciabatta sandwiches but I was wrong. The next morning everyone who I was with for the meal had been very ill and constant vomiting. We have attempted multiple enquiries with not a single response which is very childish and unprofessional. DO NOT EAT HERE

Great little pub in Old Glossop. My only critic would be a larger area for those not eating and staff could be friendly.

We popped in there on the way to Lake District. It was 11 of us in total, so everyone ordered pretty much different dishes. We were absolutely amazed by how good the food was, taking into consideration that we thought it was just an ordinary English Pub. We tried each other's dishes and every single one was great! Honestly couldn't believe it! If I will be in the area again, I will definitely visit this place again! Highly recommended!

Excellent beer with bar meals. Has the advantage of moderately priced good Indian restaurant on the first floor.

Being stuck in Glossop was made worthwhile, I hate town pubs so just Googled food pubs and amazingly there are loads so I went with out of town ones it had good reviews and richly deserved too, great food served by great staff, we'd call again.

Found this pub by chance as we strolled round Manor Park in Glossop. A little bit away from the town centre so maybe a little quieter than usual but it was also middle of a Monday in October. Still, plenty of people in the pub, several nice local ales to try and the food was delicious! They had a couple of vegan options too, which is great. Portions were a bit belly busting so I only just managed to finish it all! Good price, good value and great beer. Looked like a very picturesque area too. I wish my home village had a pub like this close by! Recommended!

Lovely traditional pub serving a good choice of ales including the locally brewed stuff too. Generally really friendly service with plenty of space inside. And more recently more tables are set up outside too. The main reason we choose this pub is because the food is delightful, classic pub choices but also some interesting options, as well as vegan. Great price for the portion size and quality. A brilliant all around pub!

Great little pub. We travelled out for the day, never been to the area before and just searched local pubs/restaurants and chose this one.Comfortable, lovely staff, great food. We had fish and chips and the portion was large. The only downside was the price of the cordial/squash which was £2.20 a glass (if I remember rightly). Very expensive for what it is.
