Big light airy room.+beer garden. 3 real ales on all good. Staff friendly.

Booked a carvery was looking forward to it then we went to get it dry meat freezing cold food piss sample gravy staff very helpful pulled all the food off the counter because it wasn't even warm and gave us a full refund so can't complain about that few problems need resolving beef joint too big cook smaller meats they stay more moist vegetables don't keep under the hot plate it ruins them just slow cook been there a few times in covid times steak was always too notch food was always amazing but never a carvery again thinking of doing my own carvery business I'd smash that out the park

Very nice pub/diner at the bottom end of town. Nicely decorated inside with very helpful staff. Good varied menu and bar, gluten free options too just ask at the bar.

·

Lovely food. Nice and hot. Took quite a while for food to arrive but once it did it was worth the wait. That was the second time we have been there when we were in Buxton and we would recommend it.

·

I respect the fact that they didn't have much staff on, however the food wait was too long, an hour and half, no mention of a delay when ordering at the bar. The food was not brilliant quality. Bland and like warm. The actual pub decor and drinks were good though.

The food was delicious and good value, a lovely pub both warm and comfortable from the cold. The service was terribly slow waiting a good 20 minutes for our pots of tea to be brought out to us and at leads another 20 to 25 minutes for our mains. The place wasn't particularly busy.I would go again maybe it was a one off with the delays.

Excellent food and very friendly staff would recommend,

Very disappointed at the lack of menus for choice for the Thursday Curry Day. Apparently it's due to the company Joseph Holt not having provided them to the Railway Pub.Zack was very helpful with finding out the information re allergens.Meals were well presented and very enjoyable.

·

Nice enough place. Not a fan of the food, does not sell full sugar Coca Cola. Seemed to be alot of staff but still slow service. Been in a few Joseph Holt pubs and generally good places.

·

Bit of a wait due to staffing issues but worth it. Meal was good and beer selection fine. Recently renovated, friendly staff
