Wonderful pub and very friendly

Went in to ask if there was food service. Waitress was extremely rude no smile and just said no. Just as well as looked unwelcoming and not great quality

Can't fault the accommodation, newly decorated, modern, clean.The staff were on hand and willing to help me out... Had a hot first date and I forgot my iron🙄 +She's beautiful and had a lovely evening)I would thoroughly recommend staying 👍

Rooms clean (few cobwebs in corners), comfortable beds. Basic kitchenette but serviceable. Perfect as a stop off point for sleeping and visiting. Downside was that there was always a smell of cigarette smoke up the stairs to the rooms. This was from the smoking area outside the bar but it permeated throughout.

No food on still, my local so friendly staff and customers. Beer choice pretty good. Not as good as previous landlords

Food on just 3 days (Fri/Sat/Sun) is really taking the p&ss! Good beer, good location, nice, friendly locals but in need of an overall (check out the Gents toilets, or rather don't) of the highest order. Sorry, only being honest!

Nice freindly staff, was served quickly. The main let down for this place was a lack of vegan/vegetarian options. The chips were nice but they wouldn't even allow you to have beans with them, even though beans were on the menu but just not as an extra.

The food was awful, lacked spice and flavour. However, the two young waitresses we very nice and polite, and made me feel at ease. If the food was better I would have bumped my review to 4/5 stars.

Our local. Excellent service. The most pleasant staff you could wish to meet. The food really good value for money and well presented and tasty. Try the Nutty Black beer fantastic.
