The Village Kitchen in High Peak

Nice veggie breakfast and huge cakes! Not stingy with the portions, you won't leave hungry but you might just have to take a cake away so you don't miss out 😄 Nice big outdoor area round the back makes it easier to take/fit in bikes and prams.

Fantastic, tasty food and good sized portions. The staff are very attentive and friendly with the whole experience being great value for money. This place is a little gem…always a winner when we eat here. Easily 5 stars but would give more if I could!! The home baked cakes are just wow….

Friendly welcome on arrival. Order taken and food promptly arrived. Our party were very pleased with the quality and quantity.I would certainly recommend.

What a gem of a place!! Just happened upon this stunning little eatery!!! Special treats for Ernie (our dog) and all the dogs in the courtyard, little pieces of sausage FOC thank you! As for the food, lovely tasty (big big portion ls too) food. The menu is just what you would want from a little place like this!! We will be back, 5 stars!!! Well deserved thank you!! Blink and you will miss it. Absolute hidden gem. The kind of food your cooking loving nanny would make. Cartoon sized slices of cake and treats. I had the home made quiche. Wow. You could have shared it. Its tasted amazing. The Mrs couldn't finish her BLT. On proper bread with bacon you could have lagged your hot water cylinder with it was that thick. Loved it. Coffee was served in proper mugs. Not thimbles like you get at other places. Great value for money. Staff were friendly, polite and jolly .i will definitely be going back!

What a find! Lovely, friendly staff and exquisite pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup. Coffee was delicious (so my husband said) and he loved his toasted teacake. Well worth a visit.

Stopped by for a bite to eat at lunch time and blown away by the quality (and portions) of food. Freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. If you in Whaley bridge and want a friendly greeting plus a hearty breakfast or lunch at a very reasonable price, you have to have to give this place a go!
