This pub has great food and a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Had a delicious Greek salad and Mediterranean hummus here today. The pub has a great choice of food if you want something light or a bigger meal.

Great welcome and conversation with Christine. Food excellent for our lunch and really enjoyed the seating outside on a glorious May day. Look forward to the return.

We popped in for a drink and dinner after a hike, we were staying at Bulls Head next door. (Two of us and our jack Russell)Honestly, the best roast we've had in a LONG time. The staff were really lovely too and it was generally a really nice and relaxing atmosphere!

Unpretentious pub in Old Glossop. Competitively priced good food and drinks. The Greek influenced menu isn't very extensive but that means what's there is great and a lot better than the identikit food of so many other pubs. Stayed open (Friday lunchtime) just to feed our walking group.Their internet presence badly needs sorting out, Google finds lots of out of date and confusing material. At present the wix link is best (but that wrongly said "Friday food service 12:30-20:00", lucky we checked.)

Lovely pub with great staff. We were made to feel very welcome. We had the sharing platter for two and it was delicious. Ordered the bread & butter pudding for dessert and that too was excellent. We will definitely return and we would highly recommend you try it too.

Very attentive and friendly staff, food are delicious, cannot ask for much more. Will definitely come again if in the area.

Lovely 'proper' pub. Busy on both drnks and food which is always a good sign. Travelled over an hour to meet friends halfway between where we live and none of us knew the area so were over the moon to have picked this little gem. Had Sunday lunch and it was lovely. Will definitely be back.

Loved the cute and cosy ambiance. Had the most cheerful loveliest young lady serving us called Alia, she made our visit very enjoyable. Compliments to the chef Dane for the juiciest beef burger, well seasoned steaks, crunchiest fries and best onion rings I've ever had. We will definitely visit again to try the mediterranean dishes.

What a gem of a pub! We really enjoyed the friendly service with a personal touch, despite it being busy on a Sunday and only two staff serving. As well as the classic Sunday dinner (four choices of meat), there was an interesting and varied specials board, which included a vegetarian option that didn't sound like an afterthought. Our meals, from soup to desserts, were delicious and came in generous portions. Would highly recommend.
