Ashfields in Hinckley and Bosworth

very disappointed fillet steak was chewy and for £30 each you do not expect to be chewing like a peace of rubber. £90 for two with water overpriced and cold. don’t think the master chief dish lived up-to the hype had better meals. not the place it was when it was ashfields come back paul.

Lovey decor and parking very easy, I feel the price is a little high for the food served, I was happy with my starter and main but my partner wasn’t, his starter of cold meat platter was very bland served with cold onion which wasn’t even a relish, maybe could have chosen better. But paying those prices you expect wow. I had the pigeon salad and trio of pork, would recommend for a special occasion but we wouldn’t rush back.

The staff were really lovely and service was great. I will say that the food did not live up to the price tag. For the price we paid I would say it would be a place for a special occasion but the food wasn't that special. Unfortunately my friend and I were extremely ill after eating a lamb dish here. We let the restaurant know and although they were lovely and assured us it wasn't possible we had been ill from there it was the only possible explanation as to why we were both simultaneously sick. I hope it was just a one off and wish the restaurant all the best but we will not be returning.

Went here tonight for dinner. Being vegan we spoke to them ahead of booking and they advised of this months seasonal menu for our requirements.The food was absolutely delicious. My partner did prefer more well cooked risotto however that was just preference, but we both thoroughly enjoyed the starter and main and their service is fantastic. The interior is also so beautiful.We will be back again to see what their next options will be! 💗

A beautiful building awaits your arrival and exactly opposite a free car park.The Staff are extremely attentive throughout your visit. They want to listen to your comments and deliver an exceptional service.The menu is on a huge board in the bar. A board you can actually read , as let’s face it menu print is getting more difficult under low lighting to look through.You could be there for hours just choosing the menu itself. Everything is there and definitely something for everyone.The wine menu is exceptional and the choices available compliment the food admirably.The food is cooked to perfection and one of the sides that can be ordered (peas and pancetta) is an absolute must. You could eat that dish just on its own.The 3 courses my husband and I had were completely opposite. Meat and fish choices, except for the pudding and cheese, but non the less perfect.I highly recommend a visit to this exceptional restaurant and I promise you won’t be disappointed.Thank you Guys for the most relaxing evening. See you all again soon.

Would highly recommend eating here. Lovely decor inside with parking opposite the restaurant. They were extremely accomodating to my gluten free intolerance and even tweaked things on the menu and gave options of two new deserts. Service was amazing too! Will be visiting again.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and fantastic service. Good value for money too.

We came here about a month ago to celebrate my birthday as the lockdown eased in Leicester. When we made the reservation, we told them we were celebrating my birthday, and they placed a birthday card on our table on arrival, which was incredibly nice and thoughtful of them.It was a Friday evening booking and, while busy, they maintained social distancing guidelines.The food we ordered was lovely and varied. The knock-out dish was their signature MasterChef dish, which was cooked perfectly. And I especially liked their praline crème brûlée.The price was reasonable too. And there's also a public car park opposite the restaurant which is free in the evenings.I would highly recommend this place if you're after a friendly, family run restaurant that offers a good variety of food.

Newly decorated from front to back. Very clean and tidy.From the moment we walked in the service was second to none.Drinks in the bar area was pleasant.We had starters, main and desserts. Could not fault any of the food we had. Cooked to perfection (Good effort chef).Table service was fantastic and any demand made was sorted for us.This is a great restaurant for family's and couples.Do book in advance as this is a popular restaurant.Car park is located opposite.Keep up the good work.
