Balti No. 1 in Hinckley and Bosworth

Been good for a few years but gone downhill. You get nowhere chatting with them. Take everything to heart. Sadly they lose a loyal customer.

What's happened to Balti No1?Have been a regular customer for years but the takeaway last night was truly awful. The onion bhaji was the size of a squashed apricot nothing like the delicious and large portions of the past. The curry had no sparkle at all. There was an overcharge AND the prices have gone up. Within an hour of eating I felt distinctly ill. Won't be returning and by the quietness of the takeaway many more have found the same .

Ordered a paneer tikka masala - no vegetables and way too much sugar, came in a big container which was just full of red sauce.As an Asian lady who cooks curries, this was not acceptable waste of money.Will avoid in future..

food was very good, balti no1 feels like such an integral part of markfield, in my opinion and in the opinion of others I have talked to, i have even heard some calling it the capital of markfield and I belive it is well deserving of the great title, would definitely recommend to anyone who likes good indian food with high quality naan and all at low prices.

I am regular customer to Balti No 1 and always find the staff very friendly, the service superb and the food cooked to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend everyone try the best Indian takeaway in the locality.

Great food and i'm an "Indian"! well actually not Indian but from Bangladesh.. list 80% of the Indian restaurants have Bangladeshi roots but are called "Indian".

Amazing food! Chicken tikka curry and nan tasted fantastic. Would recomend to anyone who enjoys indian food

Have been going here for 12 years have not had a bad meal yet always taste's good.
