Copt Oak in Hinckley and Bosworth

Never had a bad meal here, and today was no exception. For health reasons I'm trying to be careful what I eat, so I opted for the Feel Good Salad with rotisserie chicken, and I have to say I'm not a big salad lover, but this was absolutely beautiful, and I would 100% order this again. I know you're closing soon for a refurb, but I really hope this stays on the menu

My good lady & I have been regular visitors to the Copt Oak over the past 20 or so years. We have seen many managers come and go and variation to service standards and food quality. Yesterday's visit was as good as it has ever been. We were greeted by a gent who we presumed to be the recently appointed manager, James. James was professional, polite and efficient in showing us to our table (requested one by the window in top conservatory area) and organising our drinks. Our food order was taken by a female team member and served prompt. Our meal was good in quality and value. We were then attended to by a lovely young lady who was so friendly she was untrue. I believe she had an American background. If this is the standards we can look forward to from the Copt Oak team then we will be back soon.

Can’t fault the food that is presented. It’s hot and very tasty. The service though, well, to not be told when you are seated that half the menu is not available, is akin to McDonalds but then having ordered you sweet at the time or ordering to be told when your looking forward to it that that is no longer available, well, that is just disappointing. A night out gone wrong because of a lack of communication and lack of etiquette.

Had a really nice lunch today. All but one of the meals (Kid's bangers and mash) were really lovely, particularly the rotisserie chicken (that gravy...! 🤤🤤). Our kiddos eat almost anything, but the sausages were apparently really not nice.The staff were also sadly a little lacking. We'd asked for crayons for the kids, but they never appeared and a random extra drink appeared on the bill. Thankfully my hubby noticed (shock...!) and it was soon rectified.We'll definitely return though and recommend it

Called to book, got the feeling the guy wanted to fit us in and found availablity for us by putting our party on two tables. Nothing was a problem we took a cake 🎂 for my Nan's birthday they brought it out lit and wished her happy birthday. All our requests Side portions, extra custard all happily meet. So often you feel like an inconvenience yet all the staff we met today we're realaxed and genuine, dispite them being really busy when we arrived. Prices reasonable and all food good with decent size portions. Will defo be coming again.

Based on my visit last week I have given it 5 stars for the customer service. Not being able to eat black pepper limited my choices massively on their menu but the guy looked after me and I eventually had a fish finger sandwich 🥪 even if it was the fish fingers from the kids menu 😅

Came for Christmas day. Absolutely amazing, smiley service from start to end. Great with kids and adults alike. Warm. Comfortable. Worth every penny and will definitely be back in the future. Loved every moment and there wasnt a single fault with the food. Not one.

The food was good and plentiful, service excellent also. Big negative, no rotisserie chicken and when given that information I asked for a steak and ale pie, only to be told there was none of that either. I actually find that quite unacceptable.

We've been to several restaurants of a similar type recently and they were all rather poor. Our party thought that The Copt Oak was very good indeed. Service, food, price all excellent.
