Dog and Hedgehog in Hinckley and Bosworth

My partner and I went here for dinner on Saturday night with our baby daughter and our labradoodle. It was SUPERB. From the moment we walked in - the restaurant smelt divine, the drinks were lightning fast and the menu was full of things we fancied. I plumped for mussels to start (delicious - I was halfway through in the photo!) and a risotto for main - the portions were huge, I shared my meal with our daughter and still couldn't finish my main! The food was fantastic, but the service was absolutely spot on. We were given everything we needed, and all the staff were fussing with our daughter and dog, giving them everything they needed too, it was just brilliant. We eat out quite a lot, but this is the first time in a long time I've left a restaurant feeling so happy, relaxed and full! We can't wait to go back, thank you!

Just very lovely food. Hadn't been in 6 or 7 years but made to feel like a regular. Very calm, casual atmosphere. Won't leave it as long til we go back again. Staff were great too, perfectly attentive.

Called in for a couple of drinks and dinner. Superb welcome, very friendly staff and locals, and the food is amazing. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be coming back.

I had a surprise birthday meal here! Service was 5*, friendly, and attentive staff. The food was delicious. Good-sized meals. Value for money!

Amazing delicious food (literally one of the best burgers I've ever eaten) fantastic and friendly service with a good sense of humour... we'll definitely be back!

Great food, I recommend adding the onion rings. The views outside are great looking across fields and can see the canal. It felt like we were being hosted and they had interest in making sure all was good with our family. Will happily go here again

Cracking village pub, staff were brilliant from the moment we walked in, extremely welcoming. Menu was amazing and the dishes were equally impressive. Service was faultless, food and drink arrived quickly. I would come back to the area for the pub alone as well worth the trip! Our dog was also impressed with his treats from the staff!

Our firsr visit but won't be our last!! Excellent food, very friendly & professional staff serving , we were mainly served by a young man called Harry, he was extremely polite !
