Golden Palace in Hinckley and Bosworth

The food here is fantastic. I've been having takeaways for over 12 years and have never been disappointed. The place is exceptionally clean and the staff are polite and cant do enough to accommodate your choice of dishes. The spare ribs are the best i"ve ever tasted.Keep up the good work as i'm having chicken chow mein tomorrow night.

First time ordering from here. Absolutely delish food. It was delivered PIPING hot. I'm not usually a fan of this type if cuisine, but I've got to say how wonderful it was. I'll be ordering from here every time. Thankyou to all the staff there and delivering ( he too was a lovely man)

We had sweet chicken balls. Last night they was when cut we had blood and reddish juices came out of the chicken also the batter was very soft and soggy so I think you could say very under cooked this could made you very ill

I have been getting takeaways from Golden Palace for 5 years and they never disappoint. Today I ordered a set menu for 2 and it arrived within 40 minutes. The portions are generous sizes and the selection was very tasty and great value for money. You can tell the ingredients (meat & veg) are good quality and they pack out the portions rather than filling them up with sauce. I’ve ordered from elsewhere occasionally to try other takeaways but I always come back to Golden Palace.

Yesterday I ordered a Chinese at 8:30pm. It was agreed that the wait would be 1 hour 30, which I thought was reasonable as it was New Years Eve. However, two hours later passed and I asked my partner to ring them as we hadn't heard anything. When he was on the phone, the service that he received was disgusting, some really cheeky man said "do you realise it's New Years Eve, I have too many bookings, your food is not ready for another hour". Not even an apology or acknowledgement. My partner went into the Chinese and the food was awful. I now have food poisoning I will never use this place again, no wonder it looks like a dodgy place.

Food is nice but the last 2 orders we have had delivered took over 2 hours , despite being told 1 hour when ordering! First time we gave them the benefit of doubt as just a bad night but a 2nd time means we won't be ordering again, 2 hours 20 minutes and not even an apology unacceptable .

We've been using this Chinese on and off for many years. The staff are always polite and friendly. The food is always fresh, tasty and hot. Large portions that can easily be split down to last for the next day too. Delivery is normally only 30minutes. Sweet & Sour is always a winner in our house! A very nice, affordable takeaway experience altogether. Worthy of a 5☆☆☆☆☆!

I have been using Golden Palace for about a year now, the staff are very friendly and the food is very good. My favourite dish on the menu is Crispy duck with chilli and honey, you won't find this dish as good anywhere else. The other dish well worth trying is the beef in king do sauce, recommended for people who like spicy dishes. This takeaway is well worth a try
