Exceptional Sunday roast in a great setting. Staff professional and friendly. All round simply the best quality pub restaurant experience I have had in a long time.

Good choice of menu. Food well presented. Friendly staff. Should have asked to be moved as after we arrived a table of six arrived & whilst not objectionable, we're a little noisy making it difficult for conversation. All in all a good night & will be back.

We couldn't have picked a better place to meet friends. We received a warm welcome from the staff and continued to receive excellent service throughout our stay for lunch. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.We hope to be able to return in the not too distant future. Thank you.

This was my first time visiting. Great location. The staff are very helpful. Carpark was a little tight, but only because the place was so busy. Food was wonderful. But that said, 4 people with 1 round of drinks on top of the food bill, £95 was a little steep. But as the saying goes, You get what you pay for. I will visit again.

If I'm being very picky AND if it was my business: I'd make sure there was good quality hand cream in the toilets AND not Fox's glacier mints with the bill! Other than that, faultless 👏👏Food, staff, and surroundings were wonderful. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Found pub on our route along the Ashby Canal. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. Chicken, Chorizo and Leek Pie was exceptional 😊

Wonderful staff however food took almost an hour to come to the table and I think it was only cause I reminded them.It is fine dining and abit on the upper price end for meals. I enjoyed the food that I ordered. The place was very clean and staff polite.
