Little wait this time as the cafe was a little busy, great to see really.Situated in a modernised timber brick barn so great cheeses, nice little cafe and staff but lovely surroundings too.Great! Toasties!

There ain’t no toastie like a sparkenhoe cheese toastie.Great little spot to stop for a most excellent warm snack. You can stock up on a selection of cheese made with yards of the shop and some other local delights as well as a few brought in from slightly further afield. Fresh eggs and the chutneys are always a favourite of ours. Plenty of parking and often sheep and cows around to say hello to. Summer seating outside is nice too, but for cooler times there’s enough indoor tables and chairs. Family friendly.

Came to the shop after buying cheese on the market. Product is great but avoid the shop as waiting times are horrendous.

Last Saturday I bought some Battlefield Blue cheese having been told it was a lovely, spreadable blue cheese. Happy to support local industries I paid £5.50. However when I cut into it there was no blue and the middle of it was harder than the outside. It wasn’t the best.. This is not my issue as things happen. My issue is that I’ve emailed them twice and left a message on their answer phone and had no response. This issue has now been resolve to my satisfaction. The reason for my lack of blue has been explained

The only Red Leicester worthy of the name and the Vintage Red is exceptional. Sparkenhoe Blue is made with unpasteurised milk from the farm and is the only Stilton type cheese I stock.

Discovered this only today after a tip-off from another local resident yesterday. I can scarcely believe this place has been here for over ten years without my knowing about it.There's something wonderfully wholesome about local produce, and this cheese is the business. Sure, you can buy cheap cheese at any supermarket, but these local, speciality cheeses have depth and character that you won't find in the cheap-cheese aisle at Asda. Love it!

Excellent quality local produce. Good variety and good value. Also a great place to visit. We stopped and had a cheese toasty in their lovely little cafe and saw the lambs playing out in their fields. It was very peaceful and pleasant.Highly recommended!

Arrived Saturday lunch time, obviously a busy time for this place. Ordered tea for two, this was a near 15 minute wait, tea was delivered in coffee caffiteres, unknown the the make of tea, but quite weak and very little flavour. If you like a strong cup, this place is not for you. Prices cheese toasties £5, ploughman's £7.50, slightly over priced. 'in short' go on a quiet day, drink coffee and take plenty of money.

This is the place to go for fantastic local produce. They make a selection of amazing cheese. The customer service is brilliant and they are extremely helpful. Don't forget to check out the café 9-2 Friday and Saturday.

Great selection of "artisan" cheese made on site with a couple of other local cheeses from other producers. There's also chutney, gift cards for the person who has everything and a little tea-room serving tasty toasties, ploughmans, tea, coffee and cake.Thoroughly recommended for a special occasion cheese board or any other cheesy requirements. Not cheap (although not eyewateringly expensive either), but well worth a visit. Just be aware: cash or cheque only... Nearest cash machine is Hinckley Morrisons!
