Excellent little venue, great food, gluten free options, but best to book and inform them as you book.

It was our first visit to Softleys and we will definitely be returning. The ambience was lovely and the team and service was spot on. There is a good variety of food, with plenty of vegetarian and Vegan options as well as your more traditional dishes. Well done to team Softleys, thanks for a great night and see you soon.

Had a brilliant Mother's Day meal here with 4 very happy customers and 4 very full stomachs!!The service was fantastic, the staff friendly and the food was amazing.We all are different things, and none of us were disappointed.It's been a very long time since we last ate here, far too long infact, but we will definitely be back

Excellent Tuesday evening dinner. Whilst a little expensive, the quality of the food and environment fully justify and give good value. Excellent service and professional staff. Would recommend.

Wanted to leave a review after having a lovely baby shower here today. We ordered afternoon tea for 17 people and they were extremely accommodating to our vegan, vegetarian & gluten free guests even at late notice, I really felt they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and catered for. The food was out of this world with very generous portions. 5 stars from me, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Softleys’s to anyone.

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my girlfriend, a lovely place, staff were attentive and ambience was great. We were seated upstairs and looked over the square, what a charming town.Cocktails and starters were a delight, main was ordered, venison was poor, we didn't complain, but staff observed that food was not eaten by my girlfriend and came back and said we have checked the dish, and we will speak to our butcher, venison can sometimes be hit and miss.On payment of the bill, a full refund of venison dish had been given, i had to tip as this showed a caring restaurant with high standards.Oh my dish the duck was excellent, will i visit again, ' Yes, Yes'please go its a delight 👍Next time, i think, ill book a overnight stay and explore the surroundings, countryside walks , battlefield centre and train ride nearby.
