Sumac Grill in Hinckley and Bosworth

We ordered takeaway from Sumac Grill online, very easy and straightforward.Food was delivered at the arranger time, staff was polite at the door.Food was amazingly yummy and good portion sized, we ordered 3 main dishes, 2 rice and 1 chips, meals came with free breads, salads & sauces, and all enough for 5 of us (all adults) great value for money.We look forward to try the restaurant next.

Hey team, just wanted to say thank you so much for booking us in.I just wanted to give some feedback, we came yesterday and I treated my dad to a father's day meal. Overall the staff were lovely however the wait time and service was not what I expected. It seems you were busy with a large table and also just eat orders, we asked for a pudding menu twice after not being offered one and honestly the pudding was not very good.I wanted to just provide some feedback that was not public as we where a little disappointed

My fiancé and I love this place, so much so that we bring all our friends and relatives here. We have been regulars since they opened and the quality of the food is consistently exceptional, the staff are lovely, incredibly hard working and very welcoming. The food is equally excellent from the restaurant and the takeaway! This place is a true gem in Hinckley. Thank you Sumac.

Absolutely fantastic. Our first time after a recommendation and was really pleased. We love Turkish food and have for years had a faviourt restaurant so was a little aprensive about what to expect, but was amazed. Staff very friendly food delicious and big portions priced well atmosphere was really good very busy and was early in the evening. Will definitely be going back well worth travelling that bit further to go but will not put us off.

We dropped in on the Sumac by chance a couple of years ago and have been returning regularly. It’s a comfortable place, that you can sit down and enjoy yourselves while being surprised at every dish that comes your way. The food is very nice, the staff are very respectful, the whole ‘sit down’ experience is recommended .. Food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Came with a large booking which the staff knew straight away what we should order to get the best out of the menu! Recommend!!

Thanks to the owner for looking after us and providing an exceptional service. Will definitely be visiting again. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout even though we were a big group. I loved the food didn't leave anything to waste, and the desserts, Sutlac & Kunafe (turkish desserts) were just as good!!!

Food was ok, definitely not authentic Turkish food. Had a takeaway for the price the portion size was small. Salad was not Turkish was basic salad with Sumac sprinkled on top. 3 small pieces of bread given for 2 people. Salad was browning so definitely not fresh. Rice was plain boiled rice again not Turkish rice. Really could add a bit more of the culture into the presentation of the food considering the cost of it in comparison to other Turkish restaurants.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal for my wife's birthday. Everything was straight from the grill and perfectly cooked. The lamb and chicken was superb. We opted for the set menu for its great variety and it was terrific value. We will definitely be back to share this with friends. I would thoroughly recommend it.

A well turned out restaurant with a good level of service and importantly tasty food with a wide range of choices. However not much for the vegetarians. We would have enjoyed our experience a lot more had it not been for the dodgy sound quality (very jumpy) which was distracting, annoying and maybe a little loud. Sort this out and absolutely no complaints.
