The Blue Bell Inn in Hinckley and Bosworth

Health & Hygiene issue. Non dining area - went in one early evening time for a lovely pint of one of their great beers.... Then, it's very busy with a lot of people in very close proximity - no ventilation - very hot in there and guess what ? Have we learnt nothing from the all too recent pandemic ? Excellent environment for transmissible "anything".

Great Sunday lunch, warm plates and all the food was hot, big improvement over the last time we dined there, sweet availability was limited, will certainly return soon.

Been coming to this establishment for years & years.. but "wow".. something has changed everything was good before.. now everything unbelievably special...food ..service..staff..ombience..decor..lets use every metaphor available...simply fantastic..brilliant...we will be returning on a regular basis without question..

We didn't have any food but the atmosphere was good and the beer very good. Any food we saw looked tempting.

6 of us booked for Sunday Lunch, it was delicious, only one tiny hiccup, not enough veg, but as soon as we pointed it out another bowl was swiftly brought, best roast in the area and the value for money is much better than the other pub in the area.

Good food and service in a clean and pleasent establishment. Best Chilli Con Carn I have had for years. Would reccomened this place to anyone and will definitely be going back.

If half of your menu is hot dogs and they are out of stock, you really should let your staff know when taking orders, or be more prepared. I was told it was due to the scarecrow festival over the weekend, we visited Wednesday, so you had plenty of time to order them in. My 5 year old was so disappointed as she was really looking forward to a hot dog.Would of got a 5 as the food is good.

Today was our first visit as a family to this lovely and welcoming pub. It was busy but still operated very smoothly. Staff were a credit to the pub, everybody was very polite and helpful. I think the owners of the pub were also dining close by and they ensured all our dining needs were met and they had kind words to say about our one year old son who also enjoyed the food. You could really tell this was a family friendly pub with great food all fresh and perfect. Such a lovely meal despite not being from this side of town we will definitely be visiting again, thank you for a fantastic experience.

Really enjoyed our visit, reviewing the restaurant not the rooms. Plenty of parking, staff were very sweet and chatty and the food was reasonably price. Hand cut real chips and large piece of fish. It's casual dining compared to the previous owners but feels warm inside and I love that you can take dogs inside too. We will be back :)

Although we live local I had not been in the Bluebell for a long time and this was the first meal out since the covid pandemic. After we checked in we were shown to our table....we were served promptly by the staff and the food arrived quickly. The meal was lovely staff were very attentive. Surroundings were clean and 'rustic '. I will definitely return.
