Wow just wow what an amazing meal we had. The chef was brilliant he came out to speak to us about my husbands dietary requirements and came up with suggestions that he could have. The staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble. This is a little gem of a place. Please keep the Italian chef cause he is brilliant 👏

While staying with friends we visited the Coach & Horses, good selection to choose from the menu all at reasonable prices, we all choose something different and enjoyed, a member of the staff was very helpful explaining some of the wines we enquired about.Would return when in the area.

A great pub with friendly staff and a good pint of Tiger. Plenty of character and popular with diners. The garden is excellent.

It’s a warm welcoming pub in an easy to get to location, with free off road parking which including disabled parking spaces.Decoration is a mixture of traditional and modern, with outside sittings, different parts of the pub give different atmosphere, great place to get together for any occasions. Half way the pub has steps which has warning stickers and labels but still find it a little dangerous with holding drinks and with children and /or elderly, but there are plenty tablets and seats before u get to the steps areas. Toilets are upstairs, not sure if any disabled toilet(s) downstairs??Good and drink menus are decent, big plates and yummy food, have abit of everything for everyone including vegan menu, as I’m not a vegan, so can’t comment on the menu and food.Very little staff on the night we went (Tuesday) the waitress was really friendly, polite helpful and good 👍🏻 cared for all our needs.Pub these days closes quite early, we were told 2130, but we stayed until 2200 as it was quite a big get together night out.One of the most important things is it’s a dog friendly pub, has water bowls and biscuits for dogs.Overall, it’s a lovely pub 👍🏻

Chosen for its location as a mid-way meeting place for a group of 6. We were all impressed by the spacious and tasteful interior and the warm welcome from the member of staff. Drinks ordered and we were impressed by the range of dishes on offer. We all chose something different and we were all very impressed with the portions sizes and the presentation. Only one slight negative was that the pastry on a vegetarian tart was a bit tough. Service was prompt and with good humour. Great skin-on chunky chips for some of us - normal chips for another. Rounded off with good portions of deserts and a coffee. Happy to recommend it and hope to find the opportunity to come again - we would have no hesitation. As someone else said, the toilets were very clean - but are the wash basin taps a quirky joke or did the plumber only have hose pipe taps in his van? If it was a joke then it was wasted on me!

We were passing and called in on the offchance we'd get squeezed in. The pub was busy but very accommodating. Lovely bright, light, clean pub and we sat next to a toasty open fire. Friendly welcoming staff. Had to wait a while for food as they were understaffed due to illness, but the food was lovely and well priced. Will definitely call back in if passing.

Excellent service even when they were busy helpful and polite. Food was generous and tasty will be back on the burger night.

Lovely food, it was a Thursday night and met a friend who I haven't seen for nearly 2 years so had a lot to catch up on and the pub/restaurant closed at 9.00pm so quite disappointing we had to leave.

Booked in for a meal Saturday evening. Just walking out the door (half hour before our scheduled booking) only to receive a phone call to say our table wasn't available? Leaving us with no dinner reservation on a Saturday evening. Blamed on an IT issue. Would have given one star, but given two as the young chap who rang was very apologetic and sounded genuinely sorry. Still ruined our Saturday evening as too late to go anywhere else. Even a bad meal would have been better than nothing.
