The Milestone At Hinckley in Hinckley and Bosworth

Have been using Milestone for many years, service is up and down and same as their food. I had delicious food and had not so yummy food! This time my steak was so OVERCOOKED, I ordered medium rare but received a piece of tough well done steak! My friend had fish and chips and she enjoyed hers.Menu is decent, price is reasonable but I believe it’s understaff, it’s hard to get a staff to ask for sauces.The place is always clean, garden area is beautiful and great for nice weather.It’s a dog friendly pub, even inside ~ in certain area, but it’s not as friendly as some places that offer bowls of water or maybe treats / biscuits.Parking is free and plenty, not 100% sure if any time limit?

Half the menu was off due to staff shortages (the pizza oven) in my opinion would have been better keeping that open as the rest of the menu was weak and once served of poor quality. This 2 star is only based on my resent visit, staff, borderline rude and poor food. Previous visits had been good

Great food. Service is always fab. Good choice on the menu. Sunday's are very busy so get in early to make sure you can try out the roast dinner. Highly recommend

We visited here twice during our stay away. Both times were a pleasure. The waitress was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The food is great value for money.

I use the milestone quite a lot. Last night myself and 2 friends came along. 2 of us ordered steaks, which they'd ran out of. 2 of us ordered lemon cheesecake, of which there was none. So we ordered praline chocolate tart, of which there was none. We ended up having jam roll poly! Despite the lack of choice, our food was cooked well and the lovely, happy, bubbly waitress was excellent.

Waiting staff were very good and did their best despite being understaffed.It was busy, but from order to plates down, still took an hour.This of course would have been acceptable but the quality of food was disappointing.If you do go here, best to order pizza as they did look good and perhaps is their speciality, the rest was from frozen produce and you can tell.Disappointing quality from Martsons kitchen, definitely can do better.Front of House Staff do deserve praise for all their efforts.

Long time waiting to be served- had to go find someone. We were not given childrens menu’s on being seated so had to get up and find someone. After quite a long time we again got up to find a staff member to chase or drinks order.The table was very wobbly, we didn’t ask to move though as no other table was large enough for our group of 7.The burgers were quite thin, dry and cold.The fish and scampi was nice though, the children enjoyed the pizza and desserts reasonable.Overall we would not recommend.

The Milestone operated by Marston's is a wonderful pub where from your arrival your met with a clean, warm welcoming atmosphere and service with a smile. On this occasion our meal was absolutely top notch and the quality of food was amazing. At the end of our meal we gave our thanks to all the waiting staff, management and of course the lovely chef that prepared our food with such love and care. If your looking for great food and a meal for a special occasion or simply a bite to eat then I recommend The Milestone just off Stoke Road Hinckley which is opposite Morrisons Supermarket. 🙏❤️💛🧡💚💙💜🍻🍔

Lovely pub. Good food. Nice atmosphere. The garden was decorated beautifully with Xmas lights, perfect to sit out in the summer.

I think I've been to this place before, bit not for a very long time. Had the Mega Chilli Cheese Burger, it was nice, bit the 'mega' part of it certainly didn't relate to the chilli, there was only a little smidge between the stack of burgers and the chicken things. It was nice though, and only £11 so I wasn't really expecting Michelin star cooking. Staff were nice too, pub was a bit dark though, not sure if that was on purpose or someone just forgot to turn the lights on. Will I go back? Meh, it was ok, if someone suggested eating there I wouldn't say no, but it would depend what other options were on the table
