The Red Lion in Hinckley and Bosworth

Ordered the Cod and Chips. You could count the number of Chips on your fingers, very small portion of mushy peas. And £1 per slice of bread and butter. Not good value for money. But tasted nice.

i dislike writing a negative review and i dont want it to come across in a bad way but it all needs improving. The service wasnt very good and the roasts we had were all cold some were sent back but didnt want the meat warming up as it was already far to overcooked. The yorkies were to doughy! it really wasnt a good meal and for the staff to not no the difference between lamb and beef shocked me

If you want an enjoyable night out, Chris and his staff were very friendly. The locals were also friendly and would engage in conservation. There is a wide variety of beer, wines and spirits available. The Pedigree beer was particularly well presented.

Just visited this pub today (Saturday) for the first time and had lunch there and can't fault it. Staff friendly, food was amazing. The pub was busy and had a great atmosphere which was lovely to see after recent times. Will definitely be going again. Meant to take photos of the food but when it arrived we couldn't wait to tuck in so forgot! 😁 I had the cottage pie from the lite bite menu and my partner had a burger from the main menu with what looked and tasted like proper homemade chips. We both had hot apple crumble for pudding and left with full bellies and a smile on our face 😍

Old fashioned traditional drinkers pub with good beers and food.Excellent Monday burger night. Marstons Pedigree is hard to beat.

Great place, proper pub. Good beer, Food was really good, great value and all the staff were fantastic, couldn't have been nicer, if your in the area check it out. We had 3 courses and 3 rounds of drinks and it was less than £60 for 2 people!

Amazing customer service form the staff, stayed for 2 nights rooms were nice. Weathers been very warm and we asked for some ice and they were very accommodating about letting us have some ice for our drinks to stay cool! THANK you we hope you’re all well for the future. Would recommend staying or just for a drink.
