The Unicorn Inn in Hinckley and Bosworth

Took my Mum for lunch here today, lovely atmosphere and great value for money. I had the Shropshire pork that was absolutely beautiful and Mum decided on the Ploughman's lunch which she said was lovely! Would highly recommend! Definitely will be back again!

Food really nice and plentiful as a great price , staff were efficient and very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has recently been renovated and is a pleasant place to eat. We will be back

Went for first time today, great Sunday lunch, good selection of veg and nice large helping.Unicorn Inn is not a traditional country pub, but its very clean, tidy and presentable. Plenty of tentative staff, did not have to ever wait long to be served. It has a restaurant, but this wad full when we booked. That was not an issue, we were seated in bar area and this was perfectly pleasant, in fact the only real difference between the two was restaurant done table service as standard and the bar you went to bar to order. We drove out from Tamworth and will definitely be back, good value for money and highly recommended. Recommended to book.

The positive is the place has had a major refurb recently and is very modern and clean of perhaps lacking some character. Visited as a large family group of almost 20 between Christmas and New year, we had booked ahead. The service was extremely slow, half an hour to get first round of drinks, another hour for second round despite asking several times and couple of hours for the food. They seemed woefully understaffed and the few that were there seemed mostly young and inexperienced. Benefit of the doubt could have been some staff had let them down but then should have sad something to set expectations. Food was okay but nothing special and expensive for what it was.

Since our last visit its had a total refurb , which is very open light & spacious. The staff are superb, polite & helpful, the meals were excellent. Most recommended

Hi went to this pub for my late wife's birthday with my 2 daughters .what can I say I couldn't eat my food fast enough. Beer was fab .main meal was gorgeous. Pudding divine. Staff was very professional and friendly. Pub it self was lovely and welcoming. Definitely be going back .
