This is what a fish and chip shop should look like. The food was excellent and so was the customer service. We will definitely be coming back here. Best fish n chips in hinckley

Asked for a doner kebab and chips (large) I got a kebab with no sauce (didn’t ask if I wanted sauce or salt and vinegar on my chips, he handed me a small wrapped up bag and I asked are the chips in there he said yes. I got home and there was maybe 7 chips inside with the kebab. This is NOT kebab and chips. Stick to Chinese food. Leave the chip shop to the English

Friendly chippy and quick service Only ever had chips and they are the best chips we’ve had in Hinckley

Absolutely terrible, ordered a large Kabab was small, dry, over cooked and tasted days old. Will not be going back.

Ordered chips and beef and onion pie and it was so dry inside it looked like a burger inside. Not happy with the quality 😕

Terrible service from the owners. Never listen to you when you want your chips separate from the chips and then moans when you tell him again how you want them. In fact they are so arrogant that I will not use this place anymore.

Good quality neighbourhood chippy - the usual choices in addition to fish & chips, friendly service, good value for money, long established and respected locally, easy to park.

Not the best. The fish lacked flavour and was dry. The batter was not light and crispy. We did get given loads of chips for their portion size. There were lots of people queuing but we won't go again. It was ok. We have had better.

This is my local chippy and as a result I go there fairly regularly. Part of me likes that they cook fish to order, but the "5 minutes for fish, is that ok?" inevitably becomes 10 minutes. You get the impression that this is because they care about the standard of the food, but at the same time you also feel like you've walked in on a family argument that had been put on hold for the sake of appearances.One thing I will say though, they do good batter, and that's compared to other local chip shops with much better reputations. I guess the other places employ people who smile.

Hard working family team, create all food from scratch. Busy times are 'busy busy' as the customer base is huge! Ignore the silly reviews; This chip shop has ran for 30 plus years without fault. Here's to many more years service!
