Hobsons Choice in Kettering

Great value food. Lovely staff however the decor and seating in some of the seating was in very poor condition. Great place to eat before the cinema...will be back as the food was great value and good.

Very good service, clean, they managed to seat 8 of us with only 20 minutes warning as the other place we went to let us down.The food was really nice, they only had 2 vegan options for dessert but on request they were happy to serve just vegan ice cream as i didn't like either of the two choices but i saw one of them come with ice cream.Honestly couldn't have asked for better service.

After taking my family of 8 out to dinner last Saturday (booked in at a competitor), I was annoyed that items were again not available on their menu. I chanced a quick phone call to HC at 20.30, and was very pleased to be told that they could accommodate us at very short notice. We arrived at 21.00, and were welcomed by very friendly bar staff, who quickly directed us to a table. Our order was taken, and food arrived quite quickly. We were all very pleased with the quality and quantity of food. We will now use HC for future meals out. (Competitor blown out). Thank you.

I took a group of clients from the residential home I work at. They have a range of various disabilities. The staff were extremely welcoming and showed a caring approach to our clients. The staff behind the bar were great. Food was lovely. Wish I could share some of the happy photos but because of consent I am unable.Thanks again.

Had an excellent meal here with the family yesterday. I'm not a big fan of 'pub grub' but the food was exceptional. All meals prepared perfectly and staff incredibly helpful and friendly....2 for a tenner a bargain too....we'll be back..

Lovely Well Mannered Polite Staff. The Food Was Nice and Hot Spacious Restaurant With Kids Machines To Entertain Them The Only Downside Was The Roasts Were Small They Looked Like Kids Meals The Portion Sizes Were Okay But Not Great. Loved The Candymania Sunday It Was Delicious and So Were The Garlic Breaded Mushrooms My Family Were Served Quite Quickly Other Than What I Explained About The Food Would Have Been 5 Stars

Normally i have no complaints about this place and have been here over 20 times, but sadly tonight this was my corn on the cob side dish. Pre COVID it used to be 2 decent sized pieces of corn on the cob, tonight it was one piece cut in two (not even one portion) for £1.29. Not sure if it's shrinkflation but it's not great. Rest of food was fine, as was service.

A very family feeling venue. We were greeted at the door and were asked to enter our details for track and trace. Not long between ordering and being served. Very clean and tidy, we shall return in the future.

Food was good. Was a little busy on a Saturday evening. Due to the fact that the place was full, the staff and the kitchen were clearly struggling to cope with the orders. Our order came a bit late. Would go again but not on busy times.
