Joes Traditional in Kettering

Waited 2 hours for food,ordered before 8pm then phoned at 9pm,they said they had only just had the order come through,no apologies on arrival, by the time it arrived at 9.45,it was too late to eat,ordered chicken fillet burger,got something that was bright orange and rubbery,it tasted awful,dog ate it and threw up,the chips were fresh and nice,I have ordered from here many times and have always had a good meal so this review is on this one experience.

Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the best fish and chip shop in Kettering.The level of service you receive from everyone in this shop is amazing. We ordered this evening and for the first time something was missed from the order. The manager came on the phone and apologised (and truly meant it), got the item to us in under 5 minutes and the staff member whom delivered the item was so apologetic.For the first time in many years of ordering from various restaurants I felt a valued customer and I cannot recommend this enough to anyone.Also hands down to the best fish that I've ever ordered!Many Thanks for making our once a month treat so tasty and an absolute treat! Will be ordering fish and chips every month!!!Definitely spreading the love, Danni and Ollie

Got my order wrong, forgot one of the burgers, waited over 30 minutes in queue for what ended up as a couple kilos of chips. Not great.

Goid food just rubish service duvy on phone and then lets u order ur food to tell you nkt accepting card payments surely should of said at beinging

Great vegetarian options .I recomend the Thai slice and chips .

This was the first time that my wife and I have been here as we're from out of town visitingourson, my son has had deliveries and said that he had enjoyed the food. There was a plethora of options on the menu, most of which was right up my street. The prices are very competitive in comparison to where I live and the staff ( with no exception) couldn't have been more polite, friendly and helpful, they represent their place of work very well. When we got home and unwrapped the food we were pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes (in fact we couldn't eat all the chips) the fish was fresh very chunky and well cooked ( my wife worked in a chippy for more than a few years and commented on how well cooked her fish was).Whenever we eat in Kettering again we will be going here. Very nice well done.

My partner had a donna wrap with all the salad and he asked for curry sauce on his wrap and he is very pleased with it he can't eat the whole thing as its so filling..defo be go back there and ask for this again.

This place is a hidden gem on St Johns road. Their fish burger is by far the best one out of all the fish and chips shops I have tried. From the breaded cod to the wraps, everything we have ordered has been top notch both in flavour and quality. Nice big portions as well.highly recommended!

Absolutely love this place!! Been telling my hubby about this place and finally said okay let’s try it. We were so pleased with the service and food quality. The fish burger is the best I ever had and my hubby loved his monster burger! Will be ordering again from here :) thank you for the excellent service and yummy food.
