Curry tasted like vinegar. Never been so disappointed on a curry. Used to dine in years ago with my wife and decided to reminisce. Absolutely gutted.

This was our first family experience at this fabulous find. The service was second to none and the food was of an extremely high quality. All 6 of us that went will not disappointed with our meal. The ambience is very relaxed friendly and certainly somewhere we will be returning to.

Had a lovely meal here last week. The food was delicious and with fresh ingredients. You can tell they put a lot of care into it. Great service too with friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Terrible again. 5 years ago I used this restaurant and the food and service was so bad that I refused to go back. (I left a review on Tripadvisor which I really should've re-read)But I thought that after all this time they may have got it right, but was I wrong. Not only was it obvious that they'd forgotten my order (they couldn't find it because they hadn't written my name down) but I then had an additional 20 minutes wait whilst they cooked it.When I got home the food was mediocre at best and as for the chicken tikka starter? 2 tiny bits of chicken. Hardly a starter. (See picture)Compared to just about any other Indian in the area this had for to be by far the worst for value and I'm not sure how they won an award for flavour obviously the chef that won that award wasn't on tonight. And 5 years later they're still terrible. One to avoid.Update:Anyone reading this will see the response from Nazreen however I want to clarify that the photo it exactly what we got from them, nothing was removed for effect, and their claim that they packed it is curious. The Lamb Tikka main was fine, the starter was, as shown, 2 pieces of chicken. As for the restaurant supplying onion bhajis, that's all well and good if what the customer ordered was up to scratch (which it wasn't) and they eat onion bhajis (which we don't).And really to claim a random series of events was to blame and that the customer is lying (to what end, I don't know as I wouldn't eat here again) rather than apologising for poor service/quality shows the low standards of the restaurant.

I chose Nazreen for a takeaway from a Google search as I was staying locally. Chose the spicy kebab starter and Chicken Naga with mushroom rice for the main. I ate the kebabs which were fantastic and felt full so took the Naga back to Essex. I had to write a review because even though I had re-heated it at home the chicken naga was fantastic. Flavour, heat/spice was spot on with great depth of flavour. Mushroom rice was also full of ingredients and flavours. Would be back if in the area!

Nazreen Indian restaurant is quite simply the best Indian food I’ve experienced in my extensive worldly travels. The portions are generous, absolutely bursting with flavours and aromas, the polite staff in this family run business are very attentive and make you feel extremely welcome. The chef’s richly deserve credit for preparing and creating some very inspired Indian cuisine. Pricing is very reasonable for the quantity and quality of servings and you will leave feeling very satisfied with your visit. I can’t recommend Nazreen highly enough and I’m really looking forward to calling in again soon.
