Pretty place and food looks good but you would be lucky to taste it !.Problems ::-waiting time over 45 mins to an hour (ongoing issue from other comments as well )- any food portions are extremely small , I think on previous visit we were expected to share i small of potato amongst 5 people !! We asked for more but we waited another 20mins for potatoes- I quote the waitress “towards end of day, food does run out so you won’t get as much on the plate for some foods “So don’t go too late-I wouldn’t recommended it for kids due to waiting time and lack of colouring staff or something to keen them busyWe did get complementary tea and pint as we left without eating due to waiting too long but to be honest I would rather have paid .

Fantastic family run pub/restaurant. Great atmosphere, well kept ales and superb food. Recommended. Lovingly known as "Chris's pub"

Last two meals here were great with good service, Today waited for an hour, to be served the worst "carvery" ever, dry meat overcooked veg, watery gravy, deep fried roast potatoes and a mini frozen Yorkshire pudding, cost almost £13, considering the pub was almost empty, this place needs a chef that cares.

Very pleasant venue in a village location, lovely cottage garden with tables and enclosed children's play area. Lovely well laid out and nicely decorated interior. Good selection of beers and ales and decent food.

Wow what a lovely Sunday Lunch (as usual) and the Waitress Lily was so attentive. She is a credit to the pub. Food was sublime and atmosphere fantastic. Well done to all

We had a lovely lunch with our two young sons, lovely food and the boys enjoyed playing in the garden. Perfect for a relaxed family lunch.

Fantastic service; a family friendly pub run by a family. The food is tasty and of good value. The atmosphere is welcoming and they have the most amazing beer garden to enjoy a drink in. We are regulars and plan on visiting again soon!
